And, again, congratulations to Rick. I surmise he needed just a bit of time (56 years!!!) to reassure himself that he wished to become an Aussie "officially"! :grin

Mary Ann, it seems that way. :lol But he just never got around to it. He was a toddler when his family arrived here, so Australia is his home. He worked for a Government department for 32 years, served in the Army Reserves, has owned homes, paid lots of tax, votes, so he has always considered himself an Aussie.
