Wine -- another touchy subject.
On all our previous cruises on various ships we have been able to exchange the 2 cheap bottles of champagne that we get (one from the captain and one from American Express) for 1 decent bottle of wine.
Couldn't do this on the Zuiderdam. The Beverage manager said that the free bottles od champagne we get has "no value".

For the last few years we have been getting Pol Clement and never had a problem exhanging them until this ship. When we are in the Penthouse Suites we do get the better champagnes.
Joe likes HAL because of the bigger cabins, bigger bathrooms, better beds and we do get some decent discounts with HAL.
