this is our 1st Alaskan trip. What are some cheap must see must do things? I am limited on walking as I am on a knee scooter.

most places are fairly flat for getting around. We used to travel with people on scooters etc. and they went darn near everywhere.

you will not be going out to see Mendenhall glacier .. that is too difficult. But then.. seeing the glacier is difficult for anyone to see these days..as it is retreating at a great pace.

if you posted your itinerary then people here could give you better suggestions on what you can and should see.
Alaska is beautiful.

That sounds like an exciting trip! For Alaskan activities that are accessible while using a knee scooter, I'd recommend checking out scenic drives, such as the Seward Highway, or exploring coastal views by boat. You can also visit museums like the Anchorage Museum at Rasmuson Center for an easy, educational experience. For food, try some fresh seafood like halibut or salmon—many restaurants offer delicious options without requiring much walking. Let me know if you want specific recommendations!
