I'm making homemade gravy (that's Italian tomato sauce) with homemade meatballs; it's simmering on the stove; we'll have some tonight and I'll freeze some for other days.

Oliver helped out -- he opened all the cans (cans of tomatoes) and put together the ingredients for the meatballs. I just had a meatball -- yummy.

Sounds good Hucc. Paw has puled out a container of vegtable soup(was extra good this time) We are not doing a lot of cooking .We are making ourselves eat up left overs quicker. We were actualy tossing an awful lot of food.

Takeout tonight from Salvatore's - chicken and pasta for me. No cooking allowed yet.

Please send me some of that sauce and meatballs - I bet it's fantastic!!!

We were planning on store-bought lobster bisque and sandwiches. But the gravy sounds good, Hucc. I'll be right over...if I can find my boots on this rainy day.

Prime rib and baked potaotes, both regular and sweet potatoes with butter and cinnimon. It is my wedding anniversary today and since Elliott's counts won't let him go out, I am making my restaurant dinner. Not quite the same as being waited on and no dishes but Elliott needs to come first.

Chinese takeout. Sesame Chicken and fried rice. Frankly, would rather go over to Hucc's to eat. Boy that sounds good Hucc.

I am having company today, I think, and when they come we usually go out to dinner. If not, I may actually have to cook, ouch!

Maybe we'll go out.
We forgot about out anniversary yesterday until late in the day. Too much work or maybe we've been married too long. 39 years if you must know. Tomorrow is DH's birthday so we can kill 2 birds with 1 stone.

Made some portabello-mushroom-stuffed steaks from Costco (on the grill) with baked potatoes and salad.

Trying to do as much grill cooking as possible these days, because soon the party will be over, and the grill will be in storage for the winter. =cry

Hucc's meatballs sounded good so I have them simmering on the stove. DH had to work over tonight, we will be eating when he gets home around 8.

Bless you sweet child Hucc. No, I was a bit older than that.
By the way the pair of recluses here ended up taking homemade minestrone out of the freezer. We're pitiful. lol
