Denise...not much to say except that I am so glad that both of these young people survived the accident.....Jenny's scrapes and bruises will heal and I'm praying that Nate's injuries will also heal and that he will have a full and complete recovery.

Ah....the joys of parenthood....I'm sending you many =hug=hug=hug

Just talked to Jenny. Nate is still in ICU but they hope by later today his hemoglobin count will be fine and they can then more him into a regular room. His foot is all swollen this morning so they are going to Xray his legs and foot as they didn't do that yesterday.

Glad that he is showing some signs of improvement. And that Jenny is okay. Hope the x-rays don't show a major problem. I wish them all the best.

Just spoke to DD Jenny. Nate's foot is broke and they are waiting for the ortho Dr to decided on what they will do. He is ready to be moved to a regular room, they are just waiting for a bed to free up. Once again, thank you for all your prayers.

Calgon I like you have seen the results (being an ER nurse) too many times to like motorcycles Sounds like things are looking better and hope they continue to improve.

So sorry Denise - praying for speedy recoveries and some sense knocked into them. Mike's sister (an ER doc) calls them "Donor-cycles".

It sounds like he's on his way to recovery... a slow and uncomfortable one, but at least he is going to recover. Prayers continue for Nate and all who love him.

I guess I would like to say that I don't think I'm a person who has no common sense because I enjoy being on a motorcycle. I do resent many of the comments that allude to the fact that those that do are stupid, fool hardy people. I am sorry so many of you feel you need to bash motorcyclists' intelligence.

Nieciez - I hope that your young man makes a full recovery. I will keep him in my thoughts and prayers.

Denice - My brother was killed on a motorcycle by a drunk driver in 1994. My dad rode a motorcycle his whole adult life but gave it up after that happened. I wish every day that my brother was still with us and have never been fond of motorcycles myself. I am glad to read this morning that Nate is on his way home and that Jenny is alright.
