Where's your favorite spot on a HAL ship?

Our favorite place is the "S" suite and balcony. Lots of room - - I can spend hours with a book watching the water go by.

We liked the Ocean bar a lot and I think the piano bar on Maasdam looked really great, but we're smokers and it's a non-smoking bar and after dinner it was always full anyway so we never went to it.

My favorite spot on HAL is a verandah of a stateroom.

Be sure not to miss the Crows Nest observation lounge on the top of ship. If you like to people watch, and enjoy live band music, the Ocean Bar is THE place to be. My least favorite places on HAL ships are the show lounges, as these have VERY uncomfortable seating and don't mesh with the classy atmosphere of the rest of the ships. Hope you enjoy HAL!
