Join Cruise Addicts aboard MSC Cruises newest and most innovative ship MSC Seashore. Get an inside look as we attend her naming ceremony and christening while the ship was docked at MSC’s private island, Ocean Cay – MSC Marine Reserve in The Bahamas. Godmother Sophia Loren was in attendance to christen her 16th ship for MSC. Those in attendance were treated to an exclusive concert in the ship’s atrium by living legend Nile Rodgers and CHIC. The party continued on the shore of Ocean Cay with a Lighthouse light show, bon fires and dancing well past midnight. The event marked the first time a cruise line has named a ship at their private island.
