This week Viking.TV will feature a special from Highclere Castle on its dogs with Lady Carnarvon (12/18); a chance to meet the huskies of Alta, Norway (12/16), which is an excursion on Viking’s In Search of Northern Lights itinerary; learn about extraordinary dogs of the world (12/14) and dogs helping service members with Hounds of Heroes (12/15).

- Monday, December 14 – Learn about extraordinary dogs and their remarkable stories. Immortalized as statues, Viking team members will share these stories from around the world.
- Tuesday, December 15 – Alastair will speak with Allen Parton, Founder and Vice Chairman of the charity Hounds for Heroes. Allen will share his journey with his specially trained dog after he sustained injuries from military service. He will also share the continued work Hounds for Heroes does to train dogs to help other service men and women.
- Wednesday, December 16 – In northern Norway, meet the huskies of Alta – an excursion on Viking’s In Search of Northern Lights itinerary. Meet the dogs, learn about how they are trained and take part in a live Q&A with Trine Lyrek, owner of the husky center.
- Thursday, December 17 – Anne Diamond will interview author Claire Cook who wrote the book, “Must Love Dogs.” In 2005, “Must Love Dogs” was turned into a major motion picture starring Diane Lane and John Cusack.
- Friday, December 18 – Back at Highclere Castle, join Lady Carnarvon for the “Highclere for a dog special.”
- Saturday, December 19 – Mind and body with Mona Therese
- Sunday, December 20 – Sissel Sundays – Sissel will share more Christmas themed songs including performances of “White Christmas,” “Baby It’s Cold Outside,” “Helliga natt (O Holy Night),” and “Feliz Navidad.”
