Don’t go anywhere warm in March Kathie. It’s filled with Spring Breakers. Both college and families with screaming kids!
Hate to argue this close to Christmas but Die Hard is NOT a Christmas movie Dave.
I’ll wash the hutch floor. Tomorrow.

Hope you enjoyed the kids program Karen, I wrote that yesterday.
It is going to be in the 50s today and for the next 7 days or so. Yesterday I had the heat on in this room in the evening and I still froze, hoping tody will be different. Fay went to Krogers for a few items and mail some letters. She said both places were packed.
Dave, "Die Hard" IS a Christmas movie. :) I didn't know that. I was going to watch the Christmas program but I forgot.
K2, Thanks for the Christmas tree. Fay quit using our China years ago, It isn't dishwasher or micro wave safe. I haven't the heard term KISS in a long time. The older I get the less I like winter and the cold.
Lee, sleep is never over rated and neither is a nap. I know. :emoticon 0102 bigsmile: loved it.

Good evening Mike.
Sure is quiet around the hutch today.
Like Fay, I was at the grocery store this morning. I dropped Lu-Ann at the hair salon. Then headed to the really crowded grocery. It was crazy! You’d think Christmas was a couple of days away.
We don’t expect to see temps over 45F for the next week.
Hope you have all had a great Monday!

Dave, I have no idea if Die Hard is a Christmas movie or not, pretty sure I've never seen it.

Kathie, sorry for the loss of your friend, it sounds like the family gave them a beautiful send off!

Lee, good job on the floor, but I think you missed the sticky spot in front of the fridge.

Mike, Kids program was cute as usual. I told Rev. Lisa that we need cowboys in next years program to wrangle up a couple of the little cows & sheep that decided to wander off from the main aisle & up onto the Sanctuary area instead.

No laid back easy day for me today! Changed the sheets on the bed, did laundry & one of the neighbors dropped off Christmas cards that were left in the community box for me to deliver to people. I didn't realize when I agreed to do it she gave me the cards for the streets farthest from my house, won't be volunteering for that job again.
Jane came over to drop off the Christmas presents & we set up her online medical insurance account. Then when Barb got off work the 3 of us & Hansel went to BJ's so I could top off Barb's gas tank, then to Chic-fil-a for lunch and then to Aldi's for a couple last minute items.
After we got back to the house I convinced them that since we were all together & had SOOOOOO many presents to open we should start today & at least open our stocking items. We all tend to over buy for each other on Christmas & in between lunch & phone calls from family we spend the whole day opening presents. So at least this cut down a few of the things to open.
Now I think I've earned a glass of wine and some time to relax, tomorrow will be another busy day for me. Have a great evening all!

My gosh Karen, do you ever not have a packed day? I loved your description of the little cows and sheep “busting out of the corral“.
It’s been snowing here since about 7:00 pm. How’s it do that when the temperature is 35F?

If any of you Bunnies is actually planning on going out of the house today to buy something, you have my sympathies.

Cool "Smash Up", Lee.

The movie, "Die Hard". Why do I consider it a Christmas movie, even though it's a comedic shoot-em-up?

Because my definition of a Christmas movie is quite simple. It takes place during the Christmas period where the main characters are simply trying to get together with their family and/or close friends.

If you get a chance to watch it KC, I think you'd like it.

"The older I get the less I like winter and the cold." You and me both, Mike. Anymore, I don't care what it costs, I'll keep cranking up the thermostat till I'M comfortable.

I think that we Bunnies are about the last generation that put any value on owning fancy china or expensive silverware. Show up at any estate sale and you'll see that stuff, that nobody wants now.

I'm still picturing in my mind many animals running loose in your church KC. And visualizing a few cowboys rounding up the loose critters. The picture gets even better if the cowboys are riding horses. :)

Christmas Eve. Not sure how much snow we did get. I haven’t looked outside yet. Seems we always get some snow and ice on the roads to add to the hustle of Christmas.
I hope that you all enjoy the little video greeting. I put your names and states in alphabetical order. It reminded me of the old Christmas animated TV shows. I hope it reminds you all how much you mean and have meant to Lu-Ann and I over the years.
Spot on observation about good China and even seasonal place settings Dave. We have my Moms’ Christmas dishes. Packed safely away in the basement. Try and sell China, silver or a China cabinet. Like you said, nobody wants them anymore. Sad really.
We’re hosting two other couples tomorrow who would otherwise be on their own. Doug and Brenda are having their son and his family for dinner tonight. Jan and Dave, like Lu-Ann and I have family but they are all over three hours away in the Toronto area.
Now, that begs the question. Do we take it easy today OR do we get Mr. Turkey in the oven tomorrow and then tidy the house? I know which way I’m leaning.
For now, feet up and enjoy an early coffee.
Be safe out there my friends.

Merry Christmas Eve Bunnies! This may be the only chance I get to check in today so wanted to be sure & say Hi!

Lee, you always amaze me with the cute cards & videos you find & put together for us.

Dave, I may have to check out Die Hard the next time I have Amazon Prime. I think cowboys on stick horses with lasso's would add a whole new element to our Christmas program next year.

Hi to Kathie & Mike, I need to finish my coffee & get those cards delivered this morning.

Bah Humbug! Ha Ha

Lee / Lu-Ann: FANTASTIC Christmas card video. The best ever. Thanks.

Happy Christmas Eve to all.
I'm ready for the guests to pile in later this afternoon. The oven will be on and I need to throw in the Pig in a Blanket Wieners for a snack.
Too much food. I'll take a picture of the dishes all lined up empty! Crazy.

Dave: I am going to run out to get a Mega Lotto ticket. Ya never know if you have a chance unless you actually BUY a ticket.

To the rest of you Wrabbits and family have a good Christmas Eve and Christmas Day in case I don't get back on here. (like that would ever happen)

Today would have been my Mom's Birthday. Thinking of her always and especially today!:emoticon 0152 heart:

Your Christmas table looks very welcoming Kathie.
What a bonus to catch that beautiful cardinal in the snow picture.
