Return of the Cruising Bunny's....

Good afternoon!
Kathie, drive safe in that snow, I know you are a careful driver but to many people on the road are not. Good luck with Eric's last minute Christmas list too! How is Mark doing these days, still feeling ok?
dave, No Christmas shirts? That's terrible, surely you can find a Hawaiian theme Santa Claus shirt somewhere online. I'm not nearly as fussy about wrapping presents as I used to be, before they always had ribbons & bows, now they get wrapped & tagged. To many cat's in the past pulling the bows off or chewing the ribbon!

Lee, great song choice this morning! Sounds like little by little all the details of your trip south are coming together, not much longer now!
Mike, it's Friday, is another visit from the Tierneys on the days schedule?

Slept in till 7 this morning & then lazed in bed till almost 7:30, I was tempted to snuggle under the covers a little while longer, but Ginger was ignoring my request to bring me a cup of coffee!
Did a couple loads of laundry & then delivered a couple treat bags to my elderly neighbor ladies.
The cookie bags were a hit at choir last night, I handed them out at the end of practice & one lady dove right in & started eating hers, no taking them home to share with her hubby!
And that my friends is a wrap up of all the news from Brisk but sunny Belleview!

Saw this on Facebook and had to share. It needs to be posted everywhere so that Trump gets upset and gets rid of Elon. Might be too late for that. The Orange man sold his useless soul to Elon and now ELON IS the RULLER! Ha ha.

I can’t take credit for the song Karen. Mike mentioned it was one of his favourites so I tracked it down. I’m picturing your choir mate diving right in to her cookie bag. I’d never do a thing like that. ;) With any luck we’ll be checked in at The Drury Atlanta Airport two weeks from now.
Any success shopping for that grandson of yours Kathie?
We took Ava for a second walk at The Navy Yard this afternoon. We saw two big freighters, nose to tail, headed up the river. We’ve seen two before but not that close!
Does anyone else feel like a little pasta and meatballs for dinner? Mmmm. I know I do.

Lucky you for seeing 2 freighters today Lee.
And YES, I was at Kohls early and got the Jeans and sweatshirt hoodie! SUCCESS!

Going to get some dinner at a restaurant owned by a Serbian family and then going
over to the funeral home. They're not far from each other.

Mmmm pasta and meatballs sounds yummy.

Karen, glad the cookies worked out. Who can resist homemade cookies!

Lee, I listened to Charlotte last night and I enjoyed hearing her again. I also listened to the other 3 and will hear them again. What’s not to like about pizza, cake and ice cream? I can't think of a thing. Add another $804 to what we’ve spent this week to go away for 8 weeks. Oh well, ya gotta have the insurance. its ohly money
Keep the snow up there K2, we don't like it down here.

Speaking of ugly or pretty Christmas sweater/shirts.......I don't own a single one of them. I like those ugly sweater, I have two of them and wearing on tomorrow. That Dr.s wife is a smart lady.

Have a good week end Kc.

Lee: The cost to go through the Detroit tunnel is going UP to $8.25 sometime in January. That’s crazy. I might have to brush up on my swimming abilities when thinking of visiting Canada. :emoticon 0102 bigsmile: :usa1::canada:

I figured that the Buffoon would screw things up if he ever got reelected. I'd just hoped that he would wait until he was actually in office before he started messing things up.

Lee; I too am not keen on gift bags, no matter how pretty they are.

So good of you K2 to wash your pot. Ya never can tell how much pesticides are still on it. :) Great cartoon of 2 rich old white guys who think they are smarter than everyone else.

Sorry KC. Just have never had any interest in holiday shirts. Hawaiian or otherwise. It's funny that the Kryptonight for many people is something as simple as a tasty cookie. Sounds like yours are quite tasty.

Good morning from frosty Amherstburg! 19F to kick off the day.
So many of the news stories here yesterday were about how busy the airports are this weekend with holiday travellers.
The new rates come into effect January 1 Kathie. And I think that’s $8.25USD. The bridge and tunnel are, for some reason, different prices. I think the bridge is more. Because you have to pay for the view. ;) I fear that there’s more truth to your cartoon than we would all care to believe.
You’re so right Mike. About the money, pizza, cake and ice cream.
I smile when I pop on and Dave has assumed his rightful place as the early poster.
A busy day for the folks at St. Mary’s Karen?
And just because I like this Christmas song…

Quiet day on here, everyone must be scurrying around looking for that last minute gift or else buried under the covers staying warm! :)

Lee, nothing special going on today for St. Mary's, tomorrow is our Children's Christmas program which should be interesting as usual.

Dave, my cookies this year weren't as good as years past or else my taste has changed. But still give a person a free cookie & most of the time they are happy.

Kathie, did you(Art) get all finished with his bathroom? Still waiting on pics, hint hint.

Another lazy day for me today, I worked out in the garage for a little bit this morning reorganizing my garden tools & clearing off the top of my storage shelf. One of the neighbors caught me coming back from the mailbox & gave me a little plate of Christmas goodies. Then my friend Deb came by to pick up a pumpkin loaf I had made her & brought me a cute Christmas tree ornament & dish of chicken parm, yum, lunch is made for tomorrow!
And then my sister Barb brought over her Christmas presents early so she didn't have to tote them on Wednesday morning. Other than that nothing much else going on in Belleview. Supposed to get down in the 30's again tonight, brrrrr!

Supposed to get down in the 30's again tonight, brrrrr! So Karen, you’re in the middle of a Canadian Winter heat wave? :emoticon 0102 bigsmile: It feels like 14F here now. A bit of a quieter, do what you want kind of day sounds nice. Not only your church friends, but your neighbours all seem to look out for and take care of each other. That’s neat.
We were chatting with our neighbours. They went to the show to see Wicked. They said they enjoyed the story and music very much. Now, this is a newly renovated theatre. Dan and Sarah paid “seniors“ admission for their little “cubby“ as they called it. They had 1 large popcorn, 1 order of nachos and two soft drinks. All for just under a hundred bucks! Yep you read that right. Admissions were $45 and the food and drink made up the rest. Crazy!
Not much else new around here today.

Click of the link, this was done in Mason Ohio, not too far from here. Some of you may remember it, it became an international hit when the person had it posted. Tra

One of our daughters , her husband , our granddaughter, her husband and their 2 daughters came here this afternoon. We had dinner and talked a lot. Our two great daughters are 5 and 3 and it was a delight to have them here
Karen, we also would like for it to get up into the 30s. It was very nice of your neighbors to give you the cookies. The Tierney's come every other week. This Friday is their day off.
Lee, I would think twice before I would pay that much for a movie, a live show maybe a different story. It has been ages since we went to a movie. If we could hear better we wouldn't mind seeing Wicked. I'm hoping the Rocketts come to Cinci again. Thanks for the video.
Some body was talking about ugly sweaters, I wore one of mine today.
K2, I changed the print size to 22, I don't know what happens to it. Maybe I'm doing something
when I post. I can give you one of my old pair of glasses, I have plenty of them. I liked your cartoon. I would have shown it to the crowd today but I'm afraid they are all republicans.
Dave, are you feeling any where near normal yet? If possible just take it easy.

Wow Mike. If I did my math properly that’s FOUR generations at your place for dinner. Nice. I remember when that video went viral. Lu-Ann and I used to go to see the band, Trans Siberian Orchestra, every Christmas.
Like this morning on this shortest daylight day of the year, it’s still only 19F.
See you in the morning everyone.

lee, Am I right, the first day of winter. My oldest daughter used to go to the Trans Siberian concerts.

Dave, the buffoon may be just warming up or waiting for the other president to tell him what to do.

Good morning!

I'm pretty much just checking in since I don't have much to gab about.

Temperature is in the teens, topping out only in the mid 20's.

When it officially becomes winter, and we are having the shortest day of the year, I find it interesting that usually that's when it's just starting to get cold, and beginning to produce winter weather. I think the worst weather comes in February.

Thanks Bunnies for all the Christmas songs and videos of other holiday stuff.

Stay warm. And stuff those cheeks with lots of cookies. :)

I was up at 4:55 this morning. Sleep is highly overrated. That’s what everyone who can’t sleep says.
Stay warm, it’s 12F here, and I’ll see you all in a bit. When my eyes may actually be open.

It was 11F here this morning. And who knows what the REAL FEEL was like! Brrr.
Art and I both didn't want to get out of bed earlier this morning! Can you blame us.

Mike: Thanks for the PRINT SIZE increase. Good job! And how fun having all the family over for dinner.

Funeral yesterday, as all funerals, was sad. The family did do a really nice gesture for the folks that came to the service in church. They said that only the immediate family would be going to the cemetery and that anyone planning on going to the luncheon just go directly to the restaurant. It was a long day. May L. Price RIP.

While I was in church YESTERDAY, I did say prayers for all of us to be safe and healthy. Lee & Lu-Ann you got an extra word put in for "safe travels" to Florida and back.

I'm thankful for the SUNSHINE today. Not really happy about the furnace always clicking on!
I guess I should be thankful we have a FURNACE! :emoticon 0122 itwasntme:

Okay, I have bills to get in order to pay and then I need to make a list of things to get done the next few days. Oh, and I should wrap the few gifts I actually have bought.

STAY WARM.
It was cold even in Belleview! Hope your plants on the patio made it through the night Karen.

We braved the cold and took Ava for a walk at The Navy Yard. Like Kathie, we had beautiful sunshine and no wind! It actually feels warmer than the 20F on the thermometer.
Fortunately I don't get to too many funerals but I really enjoy when the family makes it a celebration of life. A few funny stories and good memories. Nothing wrong with being able to have a smile during an other wise sad situation.
It seems funny today with The Bills and Patriots playing each other and not having our long standing $1 wager on the game with Bill.
Lu-Ann and I appreciate the extra good word Kathie. As always I will send you our itinerary so you know where we're at. I took a few minutes this morning to check the rates at The Drury's along the way and we're paying WAY less than the advertised rack rate.
Everyone have a fantastic rest of the day.

Lee: Can't wait to get my copy of your itinerary for the Florida trip.
Make sure to include the complete street address in case I start to go STIR CRAZY
and need to get on a plane and come and visit! Ha Ha. Don't think it might not happen.
The older I get the worst it is to stay here through the Winter.
I really need to look into a 3 week trip in March somewhere. I don't want to go much earlier
because I don't want to wait so long for the nicer weather to show up of April & May.

Tomorrow is GET IT ALL TOGETHER DAY. I made a list of food that we will have and just need to drag out serving dishes. I'm actually thinking of going to Costco and getting those heavy plastic dishes with the silver or gold trim on them to use so I don't have to drag out my China. That would be a first for me to do that. Hey, it's going to be a buffet serving and sit-down to eat the food in the dining room. Isn't that enough! :emoticon 0102 bigsmile: :clap002:
Remember the saying: KISS....
Keep It Simple Stupid!

Catch up to you Wrabbits tomorrow. By the way is anybody going to wash the HUTCH FLOOR? It's getting nasty! Hint, Hint .... guys! And I really think we could use a small Charlie Brown Christmas Tree! Hmmm I have one I'll try and get a picture of on here.

Don't worry Bunnies, this hectic and busy holiday period will soon be over. Partly fun, and partly work. Everyone handles this time of year differently.

So many adults and children are dreaming of a White Christmas. At best this year, we had a white weekend before Christmas. As it looks now, we'll be around 50 degrees on Wednesday.

On CBS last night they had a special from the Lincoln Center honoring a few people. I didn't expect to like it much. But the music was GREAT. And the longer it went, the more I liked it. A nice surprise.

A little while later I kicked on ABC's country Christmas show. And switched back and forth between them. It was a delightful night of dandy music and stories. And they weren't changing the lyrics of familiar songs to sell me some product or car.

Kathi did a quick run to the grocery store yesterday for just a few items. (You know it was a short list when she spent less that $100 for both the items AND the booze.) Quite busy, she said. I can only imagine how it'll be today and tomorrow.)

Oh yea,....... "Die Hard" IS a Christmas movie. :)
