:sunny: Ahoy there, Duck Drew! :sunny:

A reminder...

If you haven't made hotel reservations and/or airline reservations in conjunction with our cruise, it's definitely NOT too early to do so. FYI, I'm arriving two days pre-cruise in Seattle and staying one night post-cruise. Please arrange to arrive in Seattle at least one day prior to sailing.

(I would have sworn I posted this the other day, but obviously, it didn't take. :( )

City FlagThe Council passed Resolution 28207 on July 16, 1990, adopting an official City Flag. The Flag was designed by Councilmember Paul Kraabel. The Resolution called for a white and teal blue/green flag with a stylized portrait of Chief Sealth, for whom Seattle is named, ringed by the words Seattle, City of Goodwill and undulating white lines, representing the waves in Puget Sound flowing from the center to the left edge. Only three copies of the flag were made.

Sis - join the group of missing posts on our various Roll Calls! :madd:

Thanks for the info on Seattle's City Flag. With the weather they're having today...a blank white flag probably would be more appropriate.

Sis, I just chalked it up to the post gods that sneak in and out once in a while to keep us all on our toes!

I booked our first shore excursion today. Sitka -- Historic Russian America & Raptor Center. There's something for each of us, between the rehabilitative center, architecture, and cultural performance. The cruise feels more real now. :)

Excellent choice, Lisa. My mobility permitting, that's what I'll do as well. Only reason I say 'mobility permitting' is because Sitka is a tender port.

FYI - There is a free shuttle bus that runs daily from downtown Anchorage to the zoo, the scheduel should be posted some time in May.

I am seeing if I can treat the group, my compliments, to dinner at Le Cirque the night it's offered (July 8). Stay tuned.

Sounds like a VERY good Anniversary dinner to me! Renewal of vows last year.....dinner this year....celebrating with the Ducks is the BEST, even if HA says no.
