Jim your Beall's is awesome. I got so many good bargains. it was an additional 40% off all marked down items. So everything I bought was off the 50% or 75% off racks then an additional discount.

Sheree if you like Bealls it might be worth a trip to Inverness the next time you are in Orlando. It is about an hour from our house and I may go there more often. It was the biggest Beall's I have ever been in. I bought so much stuff at such good deals. We stopped in for a few minutes while we were waiting for time to meet Jim for lunch. I bought 3 pair of shoes. One was $50 Reebok's (for hiking because I brought was flip flops for camping ) for $9.00. Then I bought some cute $40.00 Rocket Dog tennis shoes for $11.99 and some $60.00 Clark Sandals for $18.00. Okay that was $150 worth of shoes for $41.33 so of course I had to go back. I was in there so long that Tom left and went to dunkin donuts and got coffee and then came back. He bought a Columbia long sleeve shirt for $6. On the way out of town, I went back by today as I wanted the Clark Sandals that I bought in brown in black and I did not find them yesterday. Guess what, today I found them. I got a shirt for $3.24. After three trips I would up getting $523.95 worth of stuff for about $150. I was one happy camper.
No for real I was one HAPPY camper. Remember we were up there camping. It was the best camping trip I have ever been on.

Now back to the camping, as you know I am not a camper. But we had a lot of fun. It was okay except for the deer fly bites that we have all over us. We even stayed on extra day. As much as I did not want Tom to get that old pop up camper, it was really a decent way to camp as it was air conditioned at night. I would go there again.
Jim next time we go we will tell you guys in advance and maybe you can come out and camp with us. Or at least come for a cook out at dinner time. Was great to see all of you. thanks for taking the time out to meet up with us.

Ok Regina, that sounds like camping that I can handle!!! Of course, I am referring to the shopping part of it, not the pop up camper. I do love Bealls....I was on line looking at stuff this weekend but they didn't have the extra percentage off online. Bealls is definitely on the agenda for that Friday, though I don't think I can talk Greg into going out of our way since we are only in town for a short time. I know there are a couple of Bealls that I can go to when we are in town, plus the one near the port. I don't want to push my luck and aggravate Greg with shopping too much before the cruise. Good job on finding the bargains!
Just 4 work days until I am off to go to Las Vegas. I can't wait....it was way too hard to get up for work today!

Beall's has that sale about 4 or 5 times a year and well worth going, I am glad you and Tommy had a good time. We would love to cook out or camp...Well at least bubba and I would. ( don`t mind camping when it is cool but I won`t camp when it is hot...I just can`t seem to sleep when it is hot.

Sorry Dan....do you know how hard it is to pack under the current restrictions? Plus, you'd have to fly practically to the east coast to go back out close to the west coast.....so it's probably not cost effective for you to get here!!!!

I don't know what happened with that link - I think they removed the story from the website. Basically, there was a cruising couple who live realy close to my work (like 5 min away) that went on about 6 or 7 cruises, and complained quite a bit. They posted all of their gripes and responses from RCCL in the old neighborhood and the RCCL notified them that they were banned from their cruiseline. This was after they were sent a $500 cruise credit off their next cruise. So RCCL ended up sending them a $500 check and told them that they might be better suited on a different cruiseline, so don't book with them again! The article also said that hundreds of people posted against them on the boards, telling them that they seemed to be out to get something for nothing, etc. The woman was also claiming to be a former cop in Cleveland, but they checked with the chief here and he had never heard of her. There were just a lot of exaggerations in how they were representating themselves, which might make you think that they were misrepresenting or overstating the problems too,

I am not sure if it was lobster night....but I am sure they are enjoying good food! Regina, thanks for the nice little package you sent me. How did you ever know that I love flamingos? :lol Everything is really cute, and it was really sweet of you to send that to me! If there weren't so many baggage restrictions that were implemented, I'd come home with a full suitcase full of flamingo stuff from Bealls and wherever else I could find this stuff! Thanks again - that was so sweet of you!!!
Well, off to work. I've got so much to get done before I can get out of there and enjoy vacation. We're having dinner tonight with our friends and that'll kick off vacation, then tomorrow is the mandatory pre-vacation pedi-mani-massage. I really can't wait for this break!

Hey all....I am not sure who is gone and who is still here but I read the post about camping. Jim, Doris and I have a tent and we like to camp only when the weather is cool. Now I do require electricity. Next time you all plan to camp, let us know and maybe we can join you all. I need help putting the tent up now. Last time Julie and Doris did it.

George, can't wait to hear about the Vision. I had a client that said the ship is due for a refurb. Would love to know your thoughts. We are waiting until they homeport the Carnival Splendor in CA to do the Mexican Riveria. Everything I have seen she looks incredible. They are moving the Freedom of the Seas to Pt. Canaveral in 09 and the Carnival Dream will replace the Glory sometime in 09. New choices, so very excited. We will be having lunch on each as soon as they arrive.
Well all must go do some stuff around the house before heading out to the pool. Chat later :wave

Got in late last night and just trying to get caught up today. I am not looking forward to work tomorrow Many things to tell about the cruise and several observations I noticed onboard that I'm hopefull aren't fleet wide. Most was good about the cruise (with exception of dining room). When I get some time this week, I'll be sure to post more.
