hey everyone, I hope you all survived the holiday. It was fabulous weather here, I got to my sisters at 10 am with Julie and my friend Eve, Dee and Doris did not show up until 1pm and left at 3pm, Dee was not feeling well she had a toothache and her womanly friend if you know what I mean. She is actually at the dentist now, the tooth was starting to throb with no relief so she is going to have it extracted. We stayed by the pool until 5pm, it was wonderful.
I wish I was sitting on a ship poolside with a very large fun ship drink...lol
Sheree, I can't believe my sister either, she is nuts. I told her if she were to cruise with the big cats that days at sea are so much fun she would love them. She has never cruised with a big group just her and her friend so she does not know the good stuff...lol
We tried using a perometer a few times but they never worked right, don't they say 10,000 steps is what you need to lose weight??
George, I hope you are all having a fabulous time....

Dan, i do not believe you told us how you proposed. Yogini's fiance had strawberries decorated like a tuxedo and a bridal veil and had them write in chocolate Will you marry me....They were at a really nice park here in Orlando....It was very romantic and sweet. i do not have the photo saved to show you , maybe Sheree does.
The way I proposed to Courtney was: I had planned ahead and I had a arrangement at a restaurant that we had planned to eat at to have the menu say " Courtney will you marry me?" It was written in the entree section of the menu!!!! She didn't expect a thing!!!!!

Vee - glad you are lurking. I don't know if you told us - is it just you and Dee cruising with us, or is there anyone else going along with you? Are you two staying in Miami the night before? If so, we are all planning on dinner and hanging out at the pool that night. We're all staying at the Intercontinental.
Oh - and my shopping adventures....I found a couple of cute tops and a few nice pieces of this venetian glass jewelry that I found on sale at Macy's. Other than that, nothing crazy. I am still thinking that I've got so much junk in this house that I need to get some of it gathered up for Goodwill before I bring home any more clothes!
Cris - it's a good thing that George isn't here, or he'd surely comment on Dee's reason for leaving on Monday! I hope poor Dee is doing better with the tooth problem. Oh - and you are right that you are supposed to hit 10,000 steps if you are walking for weight loss. On a normal day, I seem to be doing around 7000 - and that seems like so many steps to me!

Not much going on here. Work is really rough. Thankfully just one more day. I've got an employee relations issue that is consuming a good part of my time. Why can't grown ups act like grown ups in the workplace???? I just can't wait to get out of there tomorrow!

Hello all - just checking in today, before we head out to Las Vegas tomorrow. Yesterday was our anniversary and we went out for a nice dinner and then sat outside and ate ice cream on the patio of our local cold Stone Creamery. Yum!
Today I'll be packing clothes - I have a lot of stuff pulled together than just needs to get into the suitcase. Greg has been packed since Thursday. He's a littl too enthusiastic to get away!
Jim - the pictures are adorable. I know you said he looks like Sara did at that age, but he looks so much like her today too.
And we should be hearing from George soon, right? I am dying for a little mini-review!

Hey everyone,
Regina here, long time since I have lurked or posted. Tried to catch up just now or as my husband said "ketch up".
glad to see everyone is ok.
Jim nice green thumb you have. wish our plants looked that good. I am working on pineapples. Have one getting a decent size and two that are just not making it yet. At any rate it is raining today so the yards will get green again. Yeah. I hate walking on the crunchy brown grass.
oh yes and that grandson is getting so big.............
Sheree camping was the PITTS. there was no electric at all near our camp site. Never again in such a primitive place. I have jacked up feet now from roughing it in the red Ga clay sand. No rain there in months so all that red clay was like a red dessert. I could not wear my tennis shoes for fear of runining them so I wore flip flops the entire time. A few mishapps with stubbing the toes and now I have jacked up scanky white trash toe nails. God I can not wait to get a pedicure. Been to busy all this week to do so. However I have to wait because I busted my toe nails up so bad that I can not polish them and draw attention to them as there was some major damage and polishing would draw more attention to them and make it even worse. so I guess it is safe to say no more camping for me for awhile and I am glad we are not crusing for a few months so I have time to get my toes back in shape before cute sandal wearing time.
Oh yes and did I tell you the bath room was an out house? Well it looked like an out house but had a real toilet and thank God toilet paper most of the time. Needless to say it was not my cup of tea. (the things we do for Love)
So when do we get to start booking cruises from our new cruise selling friend? Got any great deals for next year. (sike) just joking you know that next year is not a cruise year for us. We are buying a pop up camper and touring the ole US of A. Going out to Arizona to swim in George and Ann's pool. Just joking again.
Okay hope all is well and everything going great for all.
Hope George and famly have/had a great crusie and that Sheree and Gregg win big in Vegas. Maybe they will loan Tom money for the camper.
Okay I am good for a few weks now. would comment on all the other posts but it would require more of my precious time. that I do not have as there is so much to do around this house.
Did Tom tell you we are looking after a puppy that his mom got right before keaving to go up north for a few months. All I can say is "GOD GIVE ME THE STRENGHT TO MAKE IT THROUGH THIS" Puppies are so much work. especially this one.

We had a late night last night - staying up once again to watch the Cavs win. It's exciting aroud Cleveland right now. It's been sooooooo long since Cleveland has had a team in any kind of playoffs, so everyone here is so excited that the Cavs are meeting San Antonio in the NBA Championships. I went out for my pre-vacation Mani/Pedi/Massage (a new tradition since my last cruise) around 2PM and I couldn't believe the traffic heading downtown 6 hours before the game! Anyway, we're happy and we'll be glued to the TV for another good series, I am sure.
Regina - I give you lots of credit. I have no desire to go camping at all. I remember Greg mentioning going to camping to me when we were first married. I remember saying to him "what part of me looks like someone who camps? I don't camp." I don't think he's ever asked again.
Well hopefully George will check in. I did talk to him yesterday afternoon and they are home from the Paradise. Did everyone see the Liberty of the Seas come back this weekend with sick passengers? I know it can happen anytime, but I thought it was interesting that people were sick on such a new ship.
