Yes Denise, that is Topaz. Topaz died in 1999 so that picture is either then or prior, but from the looks of Topaz and Mary Ann, probably
not much prior

As many other have said......thank you so much for the updates on Pucci and posting the obituary. Part of me still doesn't want to believe that this is happening.

This is Sodey. I had to change my name to Maniac because I could never find a way to log in under my old name.
Mary Ann (Shipmaven) was very free with tons of good information about just about anthing dealing with cruising. She was a great gal and very generous with her time. I always enjoyed her input. Never met her but with Mary Ann, you didn't need to meet her in person to benefit from her generosity.

Nita, I feel the same way. Kind of still in a bit of shock over this very sad and unexpected news...

I, too, am one of the many recipients of Mary Ann's generosity and wonderful friendship. Our Maasdam cruise last June was so special, in part due to her. While I never met her in person I, too, felt like I knew her well through our phone calls and emails.

Mary Ann certainly holds a special place in the heart of anyone who visits this site on a regular basis. She will be greatly missed.

Thanks Judi. My heart is happy that Pucci will be held and loved by someone he is familiar with. I will be at the services in spirit.

...We are back today from Aruba, needless to say it was a very tortured week, Janice-called from Kansas, and Mike-Snowblower from Truckee.those are 2 phone calls from the USA to Aruba I never want a repeat on in my LIFE!!!!

.and believe me we are so totally mind blowing devastated...I have such swimming thoughts that are like a whirling dervish..and for years been lucky enough to truly use the Moniker "Auntie" .and Dearest Paesana ..our entire clan has such a a heavy heart.Having had Mary Ann be the Head Honcho for our Thanksgiving Family cruise of the 4 families on board...and as Michael said THE Queen!!!..sigh.

I am everlastingly grateful not to have opened a thread..that would have put me down for months..........and while I have fortitude..this is a Knock me off the Christmas Tree one..dealing with no cell, bad internet, and no true country of ability for this Century was a nightmare from Hell; but it finally got working after a bit...
Michael,Judi,Mal, bOB and Sheryl ,I'll be seeing you Thursday..Mark has to hold down the Fort, Vermont Paving Season of which he gets to be Chief Prince is blowing full speed ahead, and The critters after 2 1/2 weeks are fritzy to say the least..
Bad month, Bad week, Bad days ahead..but I'm trying Lord...my heart simply hurts and won't stop...all I can say...
the Good Lord Above must have had a freekin mission He needed her on....................and took her now, but It's not for lack of my saying NO>>>>>>>>>>>>..A hundred times a day she blasts in my life..The only Solace is having shared Joy with her these years...later gators.........

Thanks for the Pucci update. I too am very concerned about "the king." Not a canine, but the king!

I've been reading the posts but still trying to understand where Pucci is now...Pucci's grief is as as real as any family she had. Want to know Pucci has a home.

Pucci's new 'Forever Home' is with one of the ladies from his vet's office. They have always taken such good care of him, and we can rest assured that he is with someone who loves him and will take excellent care of him until he can rejoin Mary Ann, across the Rainbow Bridge.
