Oh, I am so Kathy, that is MAJOR repairs, and right before a cruise. How long will it take to repair? I know he needs to be on the road so every day counts. I hope you get it fixed soon. You have had bad luck with your vehicles of late.
Tom, it sounds like things are not any better in your neck of the woods. It is at times like these I wish we knew something about car repairs, but I don't have a clue what is under the hood.
I have jury duty tomorrow and I am hoping it will just be a one day event.

Morning..............
No final total yet on the repairs.......will know more later.........thats what happens when you have a vehicle with over 700,000 miles on it....(trucks can easily go a million miles).......so hopefully,with this done,we should be ok(with any major repairs) for a while..........always something
And you're right Kate..........wheels aint turning=no money.......he had to give up a load today but hopefully he'll get the truck back by tomorrow...............

Hi-
Had to work T/W and today I'm giving flu shots...my day off...
I think the pizza and beer/wine is great...we can just veg and talk with everyone! No crowds and cheap! We can all chip in and it won't be too expensive.
Kathy- so sorry about Dennis' truck- hope you get it back soon.
Tom- I agree, I think UK Bill and Ann are extremely nice...can't wait to meet them!

Latest---(glad you asked.huh??) Repairs are now at the $5000 total : and whats worse, it wont be ready till Monday...............which means a whole week of no pay(his work week is Wed to Tuesday).....
So chances are very good we wont be coming to Ft lauderdale till day of the cruise and then going right home......that will save us at least $500 something.............Hate to do it but gotta do what we gotta do at this point........
We are both ready to jump off the roof.....

It should Tom.......at least thats what dennis is telling me.........and it will be paid off in March so we can use that monthly truck payment($1400) to tackle some bills(inc,this money which his folks are lending us).......

I think Mollie and I will be doing Chops in addition to what we have already setup with Kathy, Cindy and Marilyn at Portofino's. We would be happy to join someone or we could go it alone, no worries! We can decide Saturday the 10th precruise! (which I might add is less than 3 weeks away!)

Just looked at our orignal roll call(AOS 11-11).......those poor people have only 9 pages so far(compared to our almost 200).........and not enough have signed up for the M and M......I think we picked the right cruise!!

Dennis is finally going back to work this afternoon........picking up the truck later....cost?? $6400+!!!!!! Thats the Royal Suite on a cruise!! Holy moly!

Did you notice the ship is almost entirely booked? Checked to see if there were any suites left for possible upgrade, but everything is booked....oh well, we were trying to make diamond before the end of 2008, but I don't think that will happen..

I did notice there were only inside guarantees earlier(I was hoping for an upgrade as DP)...........but let me ask you all.......
