I honestly believe that a dad traveling with a two year old generates stess (it would for me) and whatever happened that first night set him off and after that he couldn't let it go. I tried talking with him several times onboard urging him to do just that to no avail.
When it comes to cruising with children nobody in my mind could possibly do that better than Disney. Andy told me they looked into that but it is cost prohibitive. He told me it is like double the cost of a comparable cruise on RCCL or Carnival.

Disney is very $$$$$$$$$$$$.......I told Andy he needed to cruise again(which he swore he wouldnt) when Jill was old enough to be in AO......they would enjoy it more.........

Kathy- don't know if I mentioned it before, but it was very nice getting to know Dennis on this cruise!

Hi everyone, I am still fighting this cold/flu bug. I have to feel better before I fly to the UK next weekend. Its long enough when you feel good.
As far as Andy is concerned we seem to be the culprits who upset him. Totally innocently. The first night when Missy came to the table I asked her what number she had and she was table 527 and I just said " you are on that table". Missy seemed to immediately take offense (where none was meant) and she said "Oh well if you don't want us"!
I had thought that we were all starting off at our table designate and that we were going to switch anyway after the first night. I have no idea why he wouldn't shake hands with Alan who as I am sure you would all agree is not the type of person to go around upsetting anyone.
Anyway, I am sorry that they took an innocent comment the wrong way. I certainly didn't intend to offend them. In fact we were the first ones to greet them when they arrived in FLL. So I think we will just have to hope they get over it. Sorry if it caused a problem for the rest of you guys.
We had a wonderful time with each and everyone of you. I agree Dennis is a pet. Alan really enjoyed joking around with him, and he took it like a man.
The weather here today is still cold. I had the fire on last night and that was cozy. Have also just made another big pot of soup. Anyone coming over?

We had a great time on the cruise! I have always been a peacemaker and a caregiver and it goes with my nature to try and smooth things out. Kate I pretty much assumed that was what happened and I know we talked via the boards about jumping from table to table when we could. Maybe if they had been more visible on the forum they would have known that?
I got a kick out of Lee when he talked to me about the rest of the table doing portofino's (which would have left Mollie and I alone at the table) It was very nice of him to let me know but even if he hadn't it would not have fazed me a bit! Portofino's and Chops worked out great. We had a wonderful time with Kathy, Dennis, Cindy and Marilyn! And an equally great time with Bill and Anne at Chops!
The one surprise I had on this cruise was after diving in Cozumel, for the first time ever I was not excited about getting back on board ship! I loved ocean diving! Of course after a few hours I was fine:lol
