Kate - Alan is behaving like lots of men do when they've done something stupid...try to digress and make like they're really concerned about ya, when in fact it's too late to show concern. Enjoy your windfall and live it up on your cruise!

As for tanning, Kathy, you are a hundred time more tan than I'll ever be. (Envy, envy!) I talked with the salon owner and we agreed for me to go slow at first until we see how things go. This freckled Scots-Irish gal would love for once to go on a cruise not looking like the underside of a fish! My main reason, though, is that a little tan makes the spider veins and other signs of aging on my legs be less noticable.

So don't you and Kate worry...I'll be very careful! I promise!

Kate- we were worried about you; glad to hear you are okay.

Cindy- be careful with tanning...

Nighty night- have to work tomorrow!!

Thanks for the tea Kathy. I like my morning cuppa.

My friend who came to take me to lunch yesterday persuaded me that as she thought I had good legs I should show them off. She told me I had to get a short knee length dress, so we went to Macy's and I got two. I am very pleased with them. It all started when I was showing her my new black patent open toe shoes. That is when she decided I needed the right dress to go with them. Then I also got a super black patent clutch purse. Now I have to lose a few more pounds so I went to the Gym and did 4 miles on the bikes.

Kathy, not long till you cruise, I think you get back just before I leave. So I can hear all about it.

OK Cindy we will let you tan a little............ not long to go for you either. I hope Marilyn got away on time yesterday. I know there were some airport delays but at least she was not sailing yesterday so it would not have been so critical.

Off to work Have good day. :)D

Unfortunately it is not low enough but considering I was almost in an 18 I am now in a twelve petite. I would like to get down a bit further, so I will work at it. You guys have always been skinny. :)P)

You are so lucky to be tall. I admit tall helps. I am so small that any weight looks awful. I now have to work at keeping it off.

Off tomorrow. Need to take the cat to the Vet as he is shedding a lot of fur. Seems very lethargic as well. How is the dog doing now? Has the medication helped?

Good morning, Ladies!

Off today and tomorrow as I switched with someone and worked last Sunday. Nothing planned. I don't like this part of summer; too hot and it takes a toll on Lee.

Trying to get Ashley potty trained so she can go to MMO 3 days a week. It has proved to be a major task. I think Aubrey will be potty trained before Ashley!!

Later..........

Kathy- yeah, it's Mother's Morning Out. She will go from 9-1 three days a week; sort of like preschool, I guess. This is her first year at this "school." I know she will have gymnastics and "lunchtime" at school. Can't go unless potty trained and she is really being stubborn about it. Some days great, some days awful. I think they waited way too long, but that's my opinion. She is used to being in her pull ups now. We will see!!

Oh I remember those days Martha. Mothers Day Out it is called here. But it was a welcome respite. Looks like Eddie is OK but they are doing a blood test. I do have to up his BP medication though.

Got to go to the dermatology center later to have them check my skin and maybe do a hydrating mask, as it feels a bit dry. Then try to get in a few miles at the Gym and maybe some aerobics in the pool.

Glad Holly is doing well. We do worry about them especially when we have to leave them

Usually get a few friends in to spend time with him as he is a people at. He loves company ( just like me ) He also has to get medication so I may have to get the Vet tech in as well. More money!!!!!

They get to use the pool and sometimes one of my friends spends the night. Its always a problem. This morning they are saying his kidneys are not doing so well and he may need to be hydrated at least once a month. Now I need to include Vet's fees in my calculations for what my monthly needs are..........I am so totally pissed off with it all.

Hang in there.........I know it doesnt seem fair(and its not) that all of a sudden you have to deal with all of this.........you are a strong person and will get thru it...........you have your family nearby and even though we are not close(physically),we are always here for you.........

Kate- I agree; it's not fair and you are the one having to be responsible for everything. Kathy is right, though. You are strong and we are and will be here for you. Don't forget, you can always call and talk. Just use my cell number. :loveya

Kathy- Ashley is 3; she should already be potty trained. Parents these days; I just don't understand. I finally suggested to them Aubrey, who is 18 mos. old should start now being potty trained. (Their way obviously didn't work!!!! )

Sorry Eddie is sick, Kate; I know how much he means to you!
