Watching football today,I suppose?? Is today the partty???

Im gonna bbq then go for a haircut when Dennis leaves for work...........

and take the trees down...............all the rest has been down for days...........

You've got a busy day planned! Yes, we'll be watching football. Only game I really want to watch is the Rose Bowl this afternoon. Penn State is playing in that one. It should be a good game. The rest are going to be boring, so I might skip most of them.
Our football party is next Thursday night.

We haven't taken any decorations down yet. That's the project for this weekend. Usually I leave everything up until the 6th, but want to start earlier this year. It always looks so dull after everything is gone!

Time to go watch the Rose Bowl parade. You can see how busy I'm going to be today!!!:lol

Growing up we never took the decos down till the 6th.and in in fact,didnt put them up till 2nd week of Dec.......

things are just not the same here in FL..................

Our resolution is to get some exercise...........we joined the gym yesterday...........it opens up the end of next week..........Planet Fitness......right around the corner from me..............$20 a month and it inc tanning if I want(I know Dennis does).......looking forward to it...........I need to get out and moving..........................

I'm impressed, San. The year is about 18 hours old and you're still sticking to your resolution.

Watching the Penn State v USC game. Looks like this is going to be a good one with the score tied at the end of the first quarter. I was happy earlier when Georgia beat Michigan State, so hopefully, the teams I'm cheering for are on a roll!

Good morning! Once again, we have another beautiful day headed this way. I can live with 75 any day of the week!

Ended up inviting Kris & Gary over last night. I decided to make funnel cakes and there were just too many for Bert & I to eat. Or should I say too many for BERT to eat. I only had one. I decided the only way to get rid of them was to have the other crew come over and help eat them. Trade off was that they paid for pizza and hot wings. Sounded fair to me!!!

Not much going on today. Think I might have to start taking down decorations ... UGH!!!

Man,its getting deep in here with all this niceness........anyway,Im going to get some exercise and pu,p the old heart,San.thank you for asking............


BB-have you had the WingHouse wings from Pizza Hut yet?? Not bad....well, the ones I had werent(Garlic parmesan)..........I LOVE garlic wings..get them whenever I can.........................

Opened up the windows so I can clean the oven..........had drippings from sweet potatoes in it......

No plans for the day..............got up late again(9:30).....so now it feels like 1/2 the day is gone..........

We haven't tried the wing house ones from Pizza Hut. We have an Italian restaurant that makes the biggest wings I've ever seen. They do a honey, sweet and spicy sauce that is delicious.

Lazy morning around here for me. Guess I really should get dressed. Bert's been out and about already, but I'm taking it easy. Hey, maybe that should be my New Year's resolution ... take it easy every day!!!:lol

I did manage to find my hip boots for when all this niceness gets too deep. Probably will need them before the week is finished!! Can you feel the love??? :loveya

Why the boots, BB?......this is the real me from now on!

Nancy and I took our annual New Years Day trip down California 1 to Lucia in the Corvette. The Pacific shore line was so scenic as always and the sunset was beautiful. The Corvette is a wonderful car to do that trip in. We usually go all the way down to San Simeon, but ran out of time.

Sounds like a fun ride for you and Nancy, San. I'd consider it a fun ride, if we took Bert's POS Saturn to the junk yard! Unfortunately, he actually likes that car. Go figure ...

Hip boots are always a good thing to have. You just never know when you might need them.
