Has Bert been on E-Bay lately?? It's been so long since I had time to go on there and look for
JUNK/STUFF that I'll need to look up my password when I do.

SAN: How's it going over your way out WEST?? Hope your rain stopped and that it's nice today.

We started at 9 degrees this morning. Only good thing is that there is NO WIND!!

Off to the grocery store and Best Buy for me. I need to see about a cable to connect the old computer to
the New computer and transfer some of the stuff easier. We'll see what the guys over there have to say. I'm
too cheap and lazy to take my tower in and make a DVD disk of what's on the old one.

Rain has stopped, but we really need more! No rain in sight though.

Sorry about that, San! We've been out shopping most of the day getting stuff for the party Thursday night. I really wasn't avoiding you.

Funny thing happened last night ... Kris & Gary were here and we were watching the Texas/Ohio State football game when I got a phone call from a friend who lives a couple of blocks away. She wanted to know what was going on at our house that we had fire trucks and the police in front of our house. Needless to say, we made a beeline for the front door and sure enough, there were fire trucks all over the place!::eek: Seems like there was apparently a small fire at a house a few doors away from us which turned out to be nothing serious. The one truck in front of our house was there in case they needed to hook up to the hydrant by us. What cracked me up was that this friend lives in a spot where she can see everything coming into our subdivision, and when she saw all the emergency vehicles, she and her daughter jumped in the car to see what was going on. When they saw it was by us, she had to call and met us outside for a short visit. I couldn't believe our house is so well insulated that we didn't hear a thing! O guess that's a good thing, right?

So what have you been up to today?

PH has a perfect day to be over at Cocoa Beach. It was about 80 here today with lots of sun.

By the way - Have you been able to get on the Floataway Lounge area today? I can get on the regular boards, but Floataway won't open.

Just hanging around the house today. nancy went shopping.

I think we all have been having problems getting on CC the last little while. Maybe everyone is tryin g to catch up on there after the holidays.

Funny that it's 80 there in Cocoa beach. It's only in the low fifties here in Gilroy. Gets down into the mid thirties at night.

Planned a trip to Nevada with the whole family for the weekend of Feb 6. We were all able to get rooms at Holiday Inn Express in Carson City for only 5,000 points per night. The hotels must be having problems filling the rooms.

Tomorrow morning is breakfast with the guys up in San Jose.

[size=medium]Hello you two!! Let me "Introduce myself"!! I'm K2 or Kathie with a "IE" at the end of my name! Nice to say hello to you both!! I come and go on this thread from time to time. Don't want to STIR the Kettle, so I keep a low profile lately. But I do like to put in my 2 cents every so often. Sure would be nice to feel like I'm recognized as a living "thing" on here .
Remember: Ignoring me doesn't mean I'll disappear!! :girly Drinks any one?? :)-D

BB: We use to have a neighbor that lived in the "perfect location" to know EVERYTHING that was going on
in our old subdivision. If you needed to know what happened and what time and to who you just called her!! Too funny. I guess every neighborhood has one!!

CCritic was okay the last time I went over there before dinner. It would be nice if the STAFF posted a NOTE telling us what's going on. It would be even nicer if you all would post over there more often. I know you are as fond of those boards and some of the people, but just a general post or mingling with others would be nice.


I'm off to see if I can get on the CC Board. Nice chatting earlier SAN!!

Oh.......PH sure hope you had a nice day by the SeaShore. Nothing like some Sunshine to perk up the Vitamin D in one! [/size]

We've really enjoyed this beautiful weather for the past days, but as they say, all good things must come to an end. Rain moves in early tomorrow afternoon ushering in a cold front. Here in FL that means Thursday's high will only be a chilly 68! Might have to break down and put the heat on if it gets that low!:)P):lol

Sounds like you and the gang have a nice trip planned for February. Think you might run into some snow in Carson City? That would be cool ... No pun intended.

Enjoy your breakfast tomorrow with the guys.

Yep....looks like you said something K2.

Looks to me like you and BB posted at the same time. BB is not the ignoring type. She's a very nice lady.

Back from breakfast with the guys in San Jose. Foggy this morning.

If we don't get snow in Carson City.....we will get snow in the Sierra Nevada coming and going. The Mountain Pass that we go over is over 8,000 feet (Kit Carson Pass)....highway 88. Much less travelled than I 80 or US 50.

IM BACKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKK..................did ya miss me??

Had a real nice time..............weather was perfect...............got upgraded to a 2 room suite with a balcony(facing the ocean)..........they had free drinks last night(manager reception)................had a late lunch at Rustys(GREAT wings) and fresh clams in garlic and white wine..........

Met a few Sooners at the Tiki Bar on the pier.........I told them to head back north....hahaha

Saw TONS of blue and orange outfits at the service plazas........................

all in all a nice little getaway..

First chance I've had to drop by here all day. Been trying to get the menu for tomorrow organized. I think I've got it all to work. That means I've got lots to do tomorrow ... oh joy!!!!

Glad you had a nice time, PH. Glad you told those Sooner fans where to go!!!!:)D Sunshine Network is replaying the national championship game from 2 years ago where the Gators kicked some OSU SSA!! It's still a great game to watch and to think I won money on it makes it even better!:D
