Okay......congrats on "TALKING TOO MUCH PH"" :phone Oh it wasn't talking on the phone it was on here! Silly me.

Too hot to post much. My mind is fried from being outside on the deck. I wanted to try and enjoy some of the HEAT and just can't handle it!!

SAN: So did you FEEL the Earthquake?? They said it went as far as San Diego!! Glad it didn't cause too much damage.
Just what they need over there in California a Earthquake to go along with all the FIRES!! :(

Marcia: Don't be too hard on yourself about your "Kids".........you did the best you could with them. :lol

Out of here!!

But Marcia..says you have only been posting here 3 years?? Thats less time than CC....anyway,think my title has to do with the number of posts, not just the longevity...

Dont think the quake went as far as Gilroy,K2........I could be wrong.have a friend that lives in SoCal and she didnt feel a thing..

Here's my CORRECTED POST. My time ran out to correct the first post above.

San Diego is way further than Gilory isn't it??? The CNN News said it was felt in San Diego. But "THEY" could be wrong!! Gotta show you what I saw.

It was MSNBC not CNN.......my mistake......http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/25918120?GT1=43001

Gilroy........is just below SAN JOSE . And San Diego is so close to Tijuana that you could walk there!! :girly When we were in San Diego we took the train or whatever they call that RED CAR to Tijuana. Been there once and that's enough for me!! ::eek:

Nite all.

Gilroy is north of LA by approx 300............San Diego is 120 miles south of LA.....so dont think San was affected..

Good Morning you ALL!!

Got up at 6:05 A.M. to say Good-Bye to Art as he drove to a friends house for a 50 Mile bike ride (one-way) and 50 Miles back!! It started to rain as he pulled out of the driveway!! :( Got dark, thunder, lightning etc, but he still went. The rain only lasted 5-10 mins at the most and went in the opposite direction of where he was going. Haven't heard from him, so they must have took off! Yes, he's nuts!! :girly

Did any of you see JUDGE JUDY's Courtroom during the Quake?? She took off after it started to shake. Too funny.

Have a fun day everyone. I'm off to check CC boards and then go for a walk while it's still a little cooler outside. That SUN will be poking through the clouds real soon!! (td) It'll be a STEAM-BATH out there for sure today. They're call for 93+ temps here. ::eek:

Forgot, Ph, if you note, no one has more than 3 years on here. That's because their system crashed three years ago and all the old stuff was lost. I asked the
"leaders" once before about that I forget when CA first started.....

Good morning!

K2 - I could not imagine doing a bike ride like Art is doing today. Aside from all that peddling, I wouldn't be able to sit down for a week! Bicycle seats never were comfortable and I have desire to start getting used to one again. I'll stick with a car!!!:lol

Rocks are all done and the yard looks great. Now we need a good heavy rain to wash them to get all the fine powder off. We've had lots of heavy rain this past week and now that we want to see some, all we got yesterday was light drizzle. Go figure ...

Now I need to let my fingers do the walking and find someplace with garden ornamentation like pots, statues, bird baths, etc. We have about 5 places to put something, but I don't know what I want yet. I need to find someplace with a large selection. This could be fun!!!!

San - Have a great time in Watsonville. You teaching Joseph any tricks that will have his parents shaking their heads and doubting whether you should be allowed near him any more?:D

I missed the Judge Judy clip. Might be able to find it on the internet though.

Bert just got back from taking Shamrock to be groomed, so I better get going. As usual, he wants the computer.

Good afternoon. Yep, we are 360 miles to the North of Los Angeles.....wish it was further.....that's like a whole different state down there.

I think that it was Roland that got me to initially check out Cruise-Addicts.....way back....I guess it was in 2003.....that's when he left CC because he got banned for arguing with the administration over the maiden voyage of navigator........he was right about them moving up the date, but they didn't want to hear it as it messed up their maiden voyage plans......they killed the messenger....again!!!!

So, whaddya looking for for the yard BB.....pink plastic flamingoes........oh yea, and a used toilet bowl as a planter......you should fit right in:D How do you gys deal with all the rain you get........it's like you can't plan on doing things outside in the summer time. The only thing that changes around here from may to November is the temperature.

Gee, San - You've been missing your calling in life. You need to start a whole new career as a landscape architect with all your great ideas. Only thing you missed is the inverted tire planter. They always were so classy, especially when you paint them in a florescent color. And PH, who could ever forget the original Ocala "flower" ... styrofoam egg cartons cut up and placed at the ends of some kind of plant that looks like daggers. Ahhh ... the beauty of it!!!

Heading over to Kris & Gary's for dinner tonight. She's making salmon. Bert likes salmon, so we said ok. I personally was looking forward to making linguine with white clam sauce. Oh well ... now I know what's for dinner tomorrow.

Why thank you BB......I really do have a flare for landscaping, don't I? I forgot about the tires turned inside out with the "v" cut outs......exceptionally classy.

I'm getting to be an expert on Lanais too.....K2 was my mentor for that.
