Time to say good night. Finally got over to the Grill for a while after the t-storms ended. That place is evil. Everyone wants to buy you a drink and being nice people, you can't say no. Missy and I are lucky we could still walk out of the place!!!!: I can just imagine what tomorrow over there will be like!!!!!!

YIPPEE for Patty's Father!! (tu) Now he can have the expense of taking care of a puppy and walking it and feeding it and training it and opening the door every so many times a day and night for the next 12 YEARS!! : Been there ......Done that already in my lifetime!!

Sangria was perfect. The guest loved them!! I just tried a litte to make sure it was okay.

BB: Tell me something. At the "Grill" do you have personal accounts or do you pay as you DRINK?? Just wondering! If you have accounts it would be real EASY to have those drinks add up by the billing period. I'd rather just pay as I drink!!

I'm off to run up to get some baking supplies. I need to do a practice run of what I'm going to take to my friends house for her Son's Pre-Wedding gathering party NEXT weekend. WOW.......how time flys. I remember going to the hospital to see this kid when he was born and now he's graduated from Medical School and getting married and then doing a 4 year residency back here in town. Good for him!!

Good morning and Happy Independence Day! I hope what the sky looks like right now isn't a clue as to the rest of the day. It's pretty dark and grim out there.

Haven't had a chance to check the Fl thread yet this morning. Bet there's some interesting reading waiting for me.

If the rains hold off, it's going to be a busy day around here. The best part is that it will all take place at the Grill and not my house. YIPPY!!!!! They've got BBQ ribs, pizza, watermelon, ice cream ... Typical July 4th food.

K2 - At the Grill we pay as we go. Some people use credit cards and that would get scary when their statement comes in. Talk about being in for a shock!!!!

So what's everyone else doing today? Have a fun and safe day!

Happy Fourth!!! Had to go over and read the Florida "sicko" thread. Unreal...I guess I'm too healthy for that thread. And you're right, V will be showing up any minute.

I can't believe that B would spend all weekend on gambling ships, but requests baby gifts for her daughter. I get a big disconnect on this.

Falling off the "throne", good for another laugh. K2, your cat is the only stray I like to see on that thread.

I can't remember what thread I saw it, but was it SS or B that wanted to go meet GM?

Okay, done venting. What a dreary dreary day...get a day off and can't even enjoy the pool. Watching the Twilight Zone marathon on the Sci-Fi channel, always fun. Didn't take Brandy to the dog park this morning, just walked around the block.
