Time for a very fast check in this morning. Kind of cloudy and foggy out there this morning. I hope it doesn't rain. Off to get the perm and haircut in a little while. Then it's home to start cooking for the gang tonight. It's the first time Addison is visiting grandma and Scruffy!
The rest of the gang is also coming for dinner, so we'll have a house full of family ... oh, joy!!!!!

Morning gang,
Sorry I didn't get a chance to post yesterday, by the time I caught up on all the reading I ran out of time to post. Not having a computer at home bites!!
The boss is back today from their Sov. cruise, they had a nice time but said their room was the PITTS!!! They were in a Grand Suite right under the GAlley!! He said they were clanging & banging up there from about 2 am on. They called the desk every night to complain but it didn't do any good. They even asked to be moved & they were told there were no rooms available!
Ph, can you give me an address for them to write a letter & complain?? I "know" it won't do any good, but it will make them feel better & make me "look good" if I give them a chance to complain to someone!!
Sooo, bOB, just curious, what does a person have to do to get one of them there "fancy" titles like Ph, K2 etc have?? I've been good too, even tried bribery but here I am just a lowly little ole internet manager...... Pretty please with sugar on top!
Picked up the broken computer Friday, they only charged me for the diagnostic. Tried to figure out how to get the laptop going, no luck. I do think I found all the parts for the wireless internet. Going to just give up for now. The plumber is nearly done with Barb's re-pipe, he still has to hook up the Pedestal sink, but dad had to fix the wall first. Thursday I should be able to start painting & paneling.
Miss Molly had to go back to the vet yesterday for more surgery. They had to do a repair cause apparently they didn't stitch her up good enough inside & she basically had a kitty hernia. Poor thing, she now has about a 3" incision on her tummy.
Sorry, to post a book, just wasn't sure if I'd get back on today, it's end of the month billing.....

K2 - I was just kidding with you...If no one has signatures, then I don't want to upset the boat. I still have my countdowns on the other board. Not only is your title temporary, bOB always makes sure it stands out in his posts (bold, big and blue).

Good morning. We got back from Watsonville last night.
It's been pouring with rain here the last few days. The Sierra Nevada has been pounded with snow. Both Interstate 80 and US 50 were completely closed yesterday for a long time.....no easy way to get to the east. Rain is supposed to continue today and tomorrow.
BB, I have been thinking about the Buca de Beppo gift certificate.....this is what I think: You are a really nice person, so is Bert, so I think that you should enjoy a nice meal together for free. If you don't want to eat there, then I think that the card should be given to TQB......she's living a miserable life as a "Temporary", so I think the meal would add to her ASSets and might make her feel better. Thanks for considering me, though, I owe ya.
Looks like our front yard is ready for the sod and landscaping. I get to use the driveway today.
I'm going to lunch with an Xcoworker at a Red Robin up in Newark this morning.

HI All just cheking in for a minute to say hi.. busy busy.. my parents booked us ona disney cruise leaving on March 15th that is 4 days after surgery they think it would be a goodway to keep me down and sitting on teh balcony reading.. while the kids are kept busy at the kids club..... Not sure how that will go but I will have plenty of help and they are right There is realistically no way i would stay in bed all weekend at my house.... so tis way I will have elevators pampering.. and kids occupied.....

KC - sometime they have good deals at Circuit City, where you can charge and no interest for 12-18 months. That's how we buy most of our electronics. Might as well use their money. I usually take the amount charged divide by the months and pay monthly. At least you're not paying interest.
San- The job at the jail didn't appeal to Gary either; don't know what he would have done if it was offered to him. You had to count your tools and hardware (nuts, bolts, screws, etc) before entering, count how many you use and make sure you come out with the remainer. I guess inmates can do wonders with a nail, screw, etc. Too much of a worry, and not a good working environment. Glad to see that Tahoe is finally getting some snow. I always check up Northstar and Heavenly's web site to see how the conditions are. That is one thing I miss, skiing in powder (hence powderqn). Maybe one year we'll get back there for skiing.
Ruttie - Enjoy the Disney cruise. I think they have the best specialty restaurant in Palo's. Beats the others hands down. The brunch is to die for. Hope your surgery goes well, fingers crossed.

Ok,Im sending the card to K2(already sent BB a card,so they will able to use it) .........in the mail........just gotta find one of those big blue boxes....
KC-thats the trouble with ANY suite....they are all under public areas.....I personally think they should be on deck 9,but thats the way they are set up........so just about any cabin on deck 10 will have noise above................didnt they already complain about something else before(being sick???)
I would like to try a Disney cruise.......but they are so dang expensive........sounds like a perfect place to recoup........

Got a message from Little 4 year old Sammy's Mom that they're all having a good time in Disney World. She said it's hard to watch him enjoying himself so much knowing what his future holds for him. She really tugged at my heart with her last post. Keep praying for the little guy to make it.
Nephew Scott is in a re-hab center and tonight at 7:00 pm I am to call over to the house and find out what the Dr's there have to say about him and what they will be doing for him. Sure hope the SUNSHINE REMEMBERS to SHINE on these people........and soon.
