Yep I'm here, I keep looking for a buddy to show up.....but no ones seems to be posting.

How ya doing Kc......you're on the down side of the week, so that's gotta be good.

Looking for November to be over so I can get all this BS behind me....kinda stressful times around here now.

Have you thought about tieing up and gagging the little buggers.

I see that PH is in Cozomel today....I checked on the ship tracking web site that she gave us. Next stop is Fort Lauderdale. Must be going fast for her.

Trust me I have!! On one wall of the room is a row of coat hooks about 5' off the floor,, I asked one of the other teacher's if she thought the parents would be upset to come in & find their kids hanging there... she thought it was a good idea too!!:lol

Wow, her cruise sure went fast... but it seems like they always do.. that's one reason I kind of hate booking so far out... you wait forever..and then whoosh they are over... but seems like I still do it every year..

Since we seem to have the room to ourselves I'll let you in on a secret... I'm supposed to have another date next tues night... not sure if I am going to keep it or not.. the guy is 80 years old... I'm only looking for friends..but I'd rather not have a friend who might keel over durning dinner..but on the other hand he's taking me to Carabbas & I really like there food...Can't figure out why I always seem to attract the really YOUNG guys or the really OLD ones...

You know, you never can tell with age anymore.....seems like people are staying young longer...personality is what counts, huh? If the guy makes you laugh and smile....that's great. Good luck with the date.

Hi you two!! Nice little quiet thing you have going on here!! :girly

I must agree that PH's cruise sure was a FAST one!!

Kasey: I have a friend who is 64 and she's married to a guy 87 years old and he's doing just fine. He's also a "millionaire" and a Doctor!! He plays golf or tennis every other day and spends Winters in West Palm Beach, FL and they come home for the Summer. He flies into Detroit from Fl once a month for business and then back to Florida. He's a delight to be with.
She was married for 35 years to another Serbian that we all grew up with together and we all think he went "GAY" on her. No one really knows the final story on that one. So when the "Old Guy", who knew them both for years asked her to marry him after his 2nd wife died she went for it!!

So AGE isn't always as big a deal as you may think. Good luck.

SAN: Hope things calm down for you and that you get GOOD NEWS on the house selling deal Saturday.

Later.........it's been a long day and I'm beat!!

Thanks guys, I haven't cancelled yet.. but am having 2nd thoughts..
His emails haven't been all that "informative" or had much personality come thru.. maybe he's saving it for face to face..

K2, sure hope Art feels better soon... how long is the bad pain supposed to last??

Sounds like a normal guy to me.....don't share too much. Besides, he is probably really worried about your reaction to the age difference when you meet....just a guess.

K2, I'm glad that you showed up here. I've been thinking about Art and wondering how his foot operation went.

Thanks for all your concerns about Art and his silly toe. He's doing much better today.

Kasey: The worst of the pain is just about over. He just has to REAL CAREFUL NOT to HIT his toe on ANYTHING or he'll see STARS and PLANETS too. The round knob of the pin can catch on things, so he is very careful.

Give the old guy a go for it. You can always just let him off easy if you see at dinner that it just wasn't something you wanted to invest any time in. The only thing that would deter me would be HEALTH PROBLEMS. Sure wouldn't want to be a NurseMaid!!

Can't seem to get my computer to open up my HOTMAIL acct like it use to. Mark might have clicked something he shouldn't have. I can get into the e-mails, but have to go through HOOPS to get there.

Always something. I do enjoy the "Boost in Speed" since it got the computer cleaned up.

Have a fun Saturday you two!

I just checked PH's ship out on that nifty website and it's just TOO CLOSE to HOME for me. Poor PH.......coming home is a bummer.

Slept much better last night.

The boys are coming at 10 to help me prep the house for tenting, packing the garage and a couple of dump runs.

SAN.......good to know somebody is helping you with the PREP work. You remind me of Art last week when he was running around here getting ALL kinds of LAST MINUTE things done before his surgery. Actually, got the grout on the shower door sill fixed the night before he went into the hospital. I've only been asking all Summer to get it taken care of. He must have thought he better get it done in case he "kicks" while on the table and I would haunt him in his grave!! Too funny.

He took a shower today with a bag on his foot and said it was like going to a SPA!! Tonight I'm going to play Nurse and change his dressings on the foot!! Now that should be a BLAST!! ::eek:

Okay, gotta get back to the Michigan State game. Hope we win.

PH: Hope you made it home okay.

Kasey: What the heck are you up to this weekend girl??? Miss seeing your posts on all the threads. You getting all Prettied Up for next week or what?:girly

Not me K2, I cancelled the date... just didn't feel right.. my sister Jane came over last night & spent the night.. she cooked up a bunch of meals to put in her freezer & gave me some for mine... I now have 4 packs of lasagna, 2 packs of mac & cheese, a couple baggies of sloppy joes, some bbq chicken, some chicken & noodles, chili and potato soup... I won't have to cook for a month!!

san, glad the house sale is moving forward.. what is the date of your surgery again? Will you be in the hospital over night or a few days or in & out???

Good morning ladies.

Good idea cancelling if you didn't feel comfortable, Kc. Smart.

Surgery is the 28 TH, supposed to be released the next morning.

I guess we all think of those possibilities before surgery....especially when they tell you you could croak. Not nice to think about.

You'll do just fine SAN.........they've come a LONG WAY in those type of surgeries lately. Just be glad you didn't have to have it done 20 years ago. Now that would have been scarey. ::eek:

Kasey: I think that's so neat that you got all that Future FOOD out of your sisters visit. Makes coming home from work a lot easier.

Later all.........

San, you could always make a "donation" now & have them frozen in case you decide you have to become a daddy again....:D

Why do I always forget this thread is here? Must have some kind of mental block about it. And I don't need any comments from you, San!

K2 - Glad Art's toe is getting better. Is he still using crutches?

San - I'm sure you'll do great with the surgery. With all the activities you do with your gang, you're in great shape. I'm not even going to comment on the not being able to father children any longer. Oh heck ... Yes I will! Look at it this way - - - Soon you'll be a "safe catch"!!!:lol
That's great that the boys will be helping you get things ready for the tenting.
You still keeping the tradition of heading for the car show this week? It was this past weekend here and we totally forgot about it!

KC - Good idea cancelling that dinner. If it doesn't feel right, you shouldn't go.
Lucky you to have all that food from your sister! Wish I had someone who would stock my freezer, especially with prepared meals. I still have no idea of what to make for dinner tonight.

Yea, I'm safe huh? Need to start advertising now.

Not sure that we can make the car show this time with all that's going on. It doesn't start until Thursday.......but maybe we can go sometime next week.
