Ok, back to regulary scheduled postings.......

I slept ill 9am......been doing that all week......which is very unusual for me...........9 hours night...

Ruttie...........so when do you go back to work officially?? Or are you of those who go back to your classroom early to set it up since you have so many meetings to attend?? hope you relax today!

Good morning! WOW!!!! A FD post here! Holy crap ... They sky is falling!!!:

Mind if I vent a bit? If you don't want to listen, just skip this part. I am sooooo pi$$ed with Dish Network still. I finally had to cancel the appointment on Monday as we had to pick up the Caddy. I rescheduled it for today and wanted the first service call of the day. They told me that the guy would be here at 7:45. Well out of bed bright and early once again and guess what - HE HASN'T SHOWED UP YET!!!:X I called a little while ago and got told I'm scheduled between 8 & 12 (again) and that they don't do 7:45 service calls. I told her I want the guy here by 12 and no later. She says I'll make a note that you'll be home all day Did I say that????? NO!!!!! I told her that I will be here only until 12 and that if the guy isn't here by then, they will be getting another call from me to haul their entire system out! Just about time for me to put on my BITE ME shirt and get ready to do battle. OK, end of rant. I now return you to our regularly scheduled programing ....

San - So how you going to spend the day? Now that the painting is finished, I bet you don't know what to do with yourself... yeah, right!

K2 - Having trouble keeping up with Eric, huh? Don't feel bad. It's already been proven that professional athletes have trouble keeping up with kids. So now you have an excuse.

Ruttie - Glad your computer is up and running again. Sounds like the boys and their friends had a lot of fun playing that game.

All you Ocala gals - You get that bad storm last night? Watching the weather, it looked like it was very severe on the west side where I used to live. Lots and lots of lightening strikes!

PH - How's rehab coming? Are you doing any arts & crafts projects to keep you busy while you learn to mend your EVIL ways? LOL I guess buying new plants could be considered part of rehab ... It's the retail therapy part!!!!

Wow Dish Network better watch out for the wrathe of BB today.........hope for their sake, they show up......(hey,how can someone not read something that has a warning--its like a train wreck....horrible,but you wanna look)..

We got a storm last night and more rain......I keep cleaning the worms outta the pool and when it rains,I get more....I can actually watch them crawl on the deck and slither over the side to committ wormacide...its GROSS..

No Arts and Crafts....just gonna read my book......

Don't want to be caught "lurking", so thought I'd say HI to Sally. Miss your wit and wisdom on the "other" place. Sounds like Patti got banned for longer than you. How anyone can make sense of the "triangulator" is beyond me.

GM, Hope you are having a great birthday (or is it an anniversary of your 29th birthday, that's what I have now).

Ruttie, did you decide not to go to Disney at Vero? We've been there a couple of times...nice property.

BB - hope the Dish people show up soon....we have Direct TV and they've been very good to deal with, but then again, we don't live in Florida. I think Florida service people march to their own beat.

San, hope the painting is almost finished and the house if ready for market soon. If you're really lucky, the house will be sold while you're on your Alaska cruise, that way you won't have to deal with all the folks tromping thru (and usually right at dinner time).

Oh goodie - deck attendant - now I can kick all the poopy a** kids out of the pool and take all the single shoes and books and toss them overboard. Oops, can't do that, we are "saving the seas". Have to figure this one out.

11 o'clock and still no service guy!:X I had Dish Network up in Ocala and never had a problem with service calls. They always showed up on time. I just hope it's not the same guy that was supposed to come the other day. He finally called (after I had canceled for the day) and left a message that he couldn't find our address on his GPS and was leaving the area. That call came in at 2:45! Grrrr .... Bright House is looking better by the minute.

Nice to see you here Rita. Today must be special to have both you and FD pay us a visit. Heck, I see FD lurking even as I type!

PH - I'm with you on reading a book today. I just found the last Harry Potter book that was packed away and decided to reread it before the new one comes out on Saturday. I read it so long ago that I've completely forgotten what it was about, so it's like reading it for the first time.

BB: I think they should have a company that offers "SITTERS or WAIT-ERS" for when you need to be home WAITING for a service person to show up. You get this person to sit there for you while you continue on with whatever it is you need to do!! Hee Hee. Good luck with the DISH!!

Kasey: Did you ever get rid of that HUGE DISH in your yard yet?? I think I'd have to get a metal cutting saw and just start hacking away at that thing to get it out of there and regain somemore space in the yard!!

It's Sunny for 20 mins here and then the clouds come in. Humid too. But I just don't see it raining anytime soon. Sure could use it.

Off to finally get dressed!! We've been lazy over here today.

Today I need to replace a frame around the side door coming into the garage....it has water damage........then the door lock from the door coming into the house from the garage needs replacing. I ordered new doors for the vanity in the master bath area last night. I need to do a Goodwill run this morning, also.

I need to sell the house before the cruise, Rita....so it can close escrow in time for our move. I think we are going to have to find someplace to live for a few weeks.

Go ahead and kick some butt, BB.....just make sure the Dishman is smaller than you before you do any bodily harm.

Happy birthday GM. OK, one of you ladies should have run out and got a card, put it in an envelope, addressed it and given it to me [with a stamp] so I could sign it and send it on to GM. Sorry GM, your buddies let you down!

Homes like SAN's in California most likely sell like HOT FIRE. Hard to find a good solid home out there. Yet alone one that has been kept so nicely all these years and has a new driveway and landscape too.

SAN: You should go around and ask you neighbors what other things they would like to see you fix or improve on so they don't have to wait for the NEW BUYERS to do it!! Hee Hee!! :daisy

It looks like it's going to RAIN sometime soon over here. REally MUGGY right now and overcast. It's got to rain, because we just took out buckets and buckets of HOT water for the kiddie pool for Eric to splash around in and keep occupied!! He played with the 2 girls next door for awhile on their Trampoline. It was nice of them to let him get on.

FD: So how was work today?? Getting any easier now that you know you're about to give your notice?? I just can't imagine you staying at home for more than a few weeks before you find something to keep you busy! How many years have you been with this company??

I need a drink ... A big tall STRONG drink! I have been on the phone with Dish Network off and on for the past 2 hours!:X Talk about incompetence! First they tried to tell me that the service guy tried to call, but got no answer ... WRONG! Next phone call was to say the guy was finishing up a job and would call right away for directions ... WRONG! Last phone call was from a woman at DN who tried to give me the whole runaround again. Finally told me there seems to be a "problem" with our address. HUH? I know what our address is. She finally checked the work order and this is what they had listed for our address - Norbert Duttlinger 3501!: What a bunch of dumb ba$tards!!! I told the woman they have 1 last chance for this guy to get here or it's bye bye DN. She PROMISED that she will call as soon as the guy is on his way here. Needless to say, I am not holding my breath!:X

Now where did I leave that bottle of Scotch?

Im sure San will sell his house quickly.i was just saying it seems the sales of homes have slowed down nationwide........even model houses arent selling.......Im pretty sure BB can testify for that too(after her drink).......usually homes in FL sell fast too......every Tom(from NJ),Dick(from NY) and Harry(from MI) wants to live here.....

anyway,that sucks BIG time BB......you need to write a letter after they do come(see?/Im positive here) and tell them what for.......you deserve some compensation for your time....

evening everyone..
Rita nice seeing you here.. We are still wanting to try vero but it has been pretty booked Looks like we may book for labor day weekend..
San Did I mention the first class seat would be squeezed next to my dad in his 172.....
BB I did not know people even had dish any more i thought everyone did dvr's or Tivo.. I have a huge old dish out in my back yard wish i could get rid of it????!!!
Went to the movies with the kids then spent from 1-4:30 in the pool enjoying the sun I lathered up a bunch of conditioner in my hair and let it sit in the sun for like 35 minutes it is silky soft now!
Finally found TRANSFORMERS the vidoe game it had been sold out here but now the boys are busy taking turns playing it only porblem is it is a 1 player game but they are good about taking turns...
and since we have been swimmimg all afternoon they can play all they want tonight... I try to balance out the videos with the outside stuff..
think i covered everyone
Oh on a bummer note I just got official confirmation that my mesh in my stomach is one of the "official" lot and bacth numbers that has been recalled i mean come on will it ever end of all the luck!!!!
