Can't wait until dinner is done. Pot Roast w/fresh green beans and potato's and carrots! Oh and yummy mushroom gravy.

And before you ask the Pierogi's get vaccum packed and frozen for another day. After working on them .......you just don't want to eat them right away.

Still brrrrrr cold over here. Our big Veggie Market here has had Strawberries on sale for .99 cents a quart and they were all sold out today. Said he would have more tomorrow. Now how much do you want to bet he can't wait until FRIDAY when he can UP the price of them.

san, so if san is saint in spanish is Jose, Joseph? If so that makes you Saint Joe & you know what happened to him when BB couldn't sell her house!

K2, hope the paint works with just 1 coat. I hate painting, I'd never make it if I had to do 2 coats.

Reading back over just this page I think there was definitely TMI posted by K2! Shame on you, girl friend!

Almost time to head out of here for lunch. We have to stop at the post office first. Bert has 8 packages to mail out from his auctions! Now we get a few days of quiet before the next batch of auctions are up. He's really getting into this!!

BB: Nice to see you over on this board! We really don't want to bury SAN in the ground......he already has his head in the SAND half the time! :girly Hee Hee.......just couldn't resist that one buddy.

Today is our WARM UP day here ...suppose to get to 37!! Whoppe!! Then it's back to 20's and teens at night for awhile.

Kasey: Art has already put the second coat on this morning and just left to go to play cards with his buddies. Like he always says "Second Coat goes on much quicker than the first"!! He has a small open area where the bedrooms are to start tomorrow. This was a 2 section job!! Looks good.

I'm off to get some gas while it's not as windy or freezing cold.

Afternoon all..................got right on here today,which is very unusual for lately...............

Been running around.......got paint for the bathroom(called Iced Tea--good FL name!)....anyway,for the record, we are a 2 coat family....always.........

Think I need to find some stuff to get rid of and sell on EBay myself....instead of buying(just bought my Estee Lauder mascara)........

Settled for brown........thats what i got the last time.............besides I learned long ago,only women with black hair should wear black mascara.......(for what its worth)

Morning all,

BB, sounds like Bert is doing a thriving business on ebay! I see more cruises in your future.

I need to get busy & do some listing this weekend. I found more stuff in the closet last weekend, hopefully some of it will bring big bucks!:)

Vet came yesterday major bucks again! Midge has a flea allergy so she needed flea med's and predisone (sp) for the itching. She looks like a poor little half naked kitty.

No pastries this morning & the boss took home the "good" bagels for his wife yesterday, DANG I'm not in a good mood already!:X

I was looking round for EBay stuff myself..........bunch of books but that wont make the BIG bucks..........

I know Ph, it's just pitiful what I have to put up with!
I found one thing in the closet that is going for close to $200 on ebay. It's called a Titlemaker. I guess you use it to put titles & backgrounds & stuff on your videos & pictures. I think it's new but I have no clue how to test it out. Gonna put it on & hope for the best.

Good luck on the Ebay listings girls. I really need to learn how to set that up and start doing that. I have tons of stuff in that basement that would most likely be useful to somebody!! Maybe when I finally get a NEW COMPUTER and it can handle the photos etc, easier than this one does.

Okay, I'm off to clean a JUNK DRAWER in the KITCHEN. Now there's a real exciting job!! NOT.

29 degress here today and Sunny. It's really cold. I turned up the heat once already.::eek:

Good morning. We got back to San Jose late yesterday evening. We were in Watsonville for the overnight.

K2, I would probably stay out of some of my troubles if I did stick my head in the sand more.

San Jose was a little Hispanic guy, Kc.....not the same as Saint Joseph. San Jose was the guy that drove fast Burro and Wagons back in the old days, delivering for Taco Bell.

I see that there is another get together in Florida....man, I'm always missing out. Have fun with Monty, he's a kick in the head...fun to watch Nav, she never seems to know what he's gonna come up with next, but deals with it pretty well. Great couple, those two. Oh yea, the girls are OK too.

Hey there SAN......glad you guys made it back home okay from the Overnight visit.

Our NAV must be really SUPER BUSY......haven't seen her on either of the boards lately. Hope she checks in before she leaves!!

So far I've found tht I have WAY TOO MANY PENS in that kitchen drawer and pennies are starting to add up to dollars!! (tu) Finders keepers.
Speaking of finding something.....yesterday while in our Specialty bakery (expensive) I picked up a $20.00 bill on the floor. Felt funny, but if I didn't pick it up someone else would have.

Another killing in a school in Boston area. Way too much of this crap going on lately.

Btw, our Fl. dinner isn't till Feb. 2nd, PLENTY of time for you to cash in some of those airline miles & join us! I have a feeling you & Monty together would be a hoot to watch!!:)

K2, you mean you just KEPT the money you found on the floor?? I'm shocked!! Were there other people around? I think I would have kept the bill hidden but asked if anyone had dropped some money. Course anything larger than a $20 would be a different story!:lol

Yea San..our FL get together with NB is Feb 2nd.dinner at Buca!!(20 of us!!)
Then our regular FL get together is Feb 17th for lunch at BUCA!!(between 15-20 of us then)

Now you have ample time to figure out which one you want to attend...................

HOPE NAV IS ALL READY FOR HER CRUISE. BUSY GIRL RIGHT NOW I BET.

Eric is coming over to spend a few nights until Sunday with us. Ashley is going to a Sleep-over Birthday tomorrow so we just get him. Should be nice a quiet and no fighting for a change!!

I have always had a good time with Monty, Kc, he's a funny guy...prety d*mn sharp too. You guys will have a great time with them all. Not enough miles saved up yet, so I'll have to wait until May '08 to hook up.

I spent most of the day getting the ATVs ready for the next off road trip. One wouldn't start, so had to take the carbureter apart to unstick the float needle valve.....ran like a charm after that.

I'd have kept the $20 if no one else was there K2. Probably some little old lady on Social Security that barely makes it by each month, has a sick cat and a husband in a home, lost it right before you went in there.

Wow, twenty for dinner with Nav.....who's gonna be there? Who's buying....is Paul going?

Her Mom and Dad are really nice, also.

I almost think that a little cocktail party is better than a sit down dinner, it would be easier to mingle and be able to talk to everyone...I didn't really get a chance to talk to Art in YVR because he wasn't sitting near me.....Not complaining about the ones I was sitting near, though.....I had a good time.

See there you go, back pedaling AGAIN san!! You always say we never invite you or we don't give you enough notice, here you have 2 weeks & you're STILL bailing on us! Heck, you've got enough time to gas up & do a road trip here!

Got my listings done, gonna put them on Sunday afternoon.
