Went to the Orthopedic Surgeon today. The wound (owie, boo-boo) is looking alright but we don't know yet if any grafting or other surgery may be required. I see the wound specialist tomorrow.

I'm still staying at Jean's house. I just stick my head in the door here to be sure my work is up to date.

I appreciate your prayers - please continue them

I apologize for not gettiing this up yesterday.

First of all, the xrays showed nothing broken and everything is fine, thank goodness.

She went to the wound specialist yesterday. His main concern is for the area that's very bruised. He doesn't know whether the skin will die or not so they need to keep an eye on that. She's got an appointment with her Doctor on Monday.

She didn't go home at all yesterday, but she was going to try to go today to catch up on her work.

Once again, she thanks everyone for their prayers and concern....as do I! :thankyou:

Mama Duck checking in. I don't know what to say except to keep saying :thankyou:.

Yesterday was a pretty rough day. Yes, I did find out that x-rays taken at the hospital Monday night showed nothing broken, thank God. As Judi also kindly reported, there's a "wait and see" whether the severely damaged skin will regenerate and whether another area on my knee will heal. However, I'm hard put to remember my being so angry at a doctor (the wound specialist). The hospital rehab area that I went to was soooo disorganized, the two Techs who checked data on me didn't seem to know which end was up, and the specialist reminded me of the south end of a horse headed north. :madd: I'll just leave it at that. I was, and am, livid.

On the other hand, the outpouring of concern and love from my friends, especially my @ddicts friends, is overwhelming. I am deeply grateful.

Now, I must get to work - which is why I'm in the office - but I'll check back as soon as I can.
