Lee: Art is a tad better each day. Still has some GUNK in his neck area and his head is finally feeling not as STUFFED UP. He is drinking a lot of tea these days. He loved the Molson's video. Said when he was a lad up at the cottage they would drink Molson's beer!
Later........back to bed for now.
Kathi Allen..... any word on DAVE and how he's doing? Hope much better. Tell we miss him.

I'd like to thank you beautiful Bunnies for your kind comments when I went on the sick list.
Finally I got home from the hospital last night. Things aren't perfect, and feeling pretty rough, but good enough for the doctors to release me. Not sure if I'll be able to stay home. I understand that bleeding following that kind of prostate surgery is not uncommon. And yesterday afternoon I finally took my 1st pee in a month. That was a good feeling even though it was a bit bloody. Sure hope I don't have to have that catheter put back in.
I too was disappointed in the Super Bowl, the commercials and the half time show. But not half as disappointed as my granddaughter was with her Kansas City Chiefs.
K2; Hoping that by now Art's cold is mostly cleared up. And you didn't catch any part of it. With all the opiate overdoses and deaths, the hospitals are getting really chintzy on handing out high powered pain killers.
Did ya get anything at the Sketcher's store, Lee? So if Ava gets to pick the direction of your walks, I see that she takes YOU on a walk.

Drink LOTS OF WATER and NOT Sota/Pop or coffee. Just trust me on this please. You need to flush out that bladder! Again, happy you’re out of the hospital. Now get ready for some snow!

We’re suppose to get a blast of snow and wind here either late tonight, but most likely on Wednesday.
I want to make a run to Costco (4 mile away as the crow fly’s). Just need a couple of things. And when I have a list I’m pretty good about sticking to it.
Mike: I think you might get some of the snow. I’ll have to check it out. Good week to have soup and bread handy.
Dave and the rest of you Wrabbits…….thanks for thinking of Art and his COLD. He said it’s getting better. He looked it up on google and said it can take as long as 10-12 days to get over a common cold. He’s right on track. Of course, the VICKS I smear all over his chest and neck must do some good too!
I’ve been sleeping in the spare bedroom to avoid breathing in any cold germs. Works for me.

Thanks for the explanation Lee. Was God out of locust, wonderful that one made my day. You are right;, I would have enjoyed a LARGE piece of K2's a cake. There is a good chance frump won't have that tariff, when he postpones things or says in a few weeks they seldom ever happen.

Those donuts look real good K2, I think I will have one. What is the saying, you can't have just one. We got some snow last night, it covered the grass but not the sidewalks and driveway.
I hope by now you are feeling better. Maybe all you need is rest and liquids for a while. You have had it rough for a while and it may take time to feel much better
Do you take naps during the day Lee? If I got up that early I would be sleepy all day long.
Time to grab a dounut and some coffee. Join me any one?????

I’m in! What kind of donut would you all like? The coffee is on too.
We had a nice trip to Mount Dora this morning. We scaled the summit. All the way to City Hall which is perched 184 feet above sea level. We established a base camp at Alyson A’s bake shop which was about half way to the top. After a coffee and scone we continued our ascent and made it to the top.
No Mike, no naps for me. Not to say that I haven’t tried over the years.
The Burg is under a freezing rain warning Kathie. Right now we’re under mostly sunny skies and it’s 85F feeling like 87F. Did you see Karen on the church service?
We think we may go over to Coronado Springs hotel to watch the sunset tonight.
Other than that there’s not much going on today.

One more thing we’ve stopped doing Kathie. Plant City that is. The past couple of years their portions have suffered from “shrinkflation” AND higher prices. Add the exchange rate and it’s just way too expensive for stuff we can make at the house. With a little help from Publix of course.

He spent hours SHREDDING old papers that had our names on them, etc, etc. He managed to fill a 55 gallon black garbage bag! We need to make it a weekly routine so it doesn’t get out of hand again.
