well I am looking forward in seeing everyone in april I am only bring one suitcase each for Alaska cruise so I am useing the laundry service what even it cost.

I know who one of the surprise couples are going to be he posted on another site that he was going to be on this cruise it will be good to see them again?

Welcome aboard, Cruizer. What aircraft do you prefer to San Pedro - a Cessna or a Beechcraft? Perhaps a helicopter?

As I am sure you are aware, there is a helipad right next to where Princess docks ...

Well Heck, Mary Ann, maybe you can just send that heli for us when we pull into the Amtrak station. That would be a great ride to the hotel on the pier.

I have a friend who used to fly the helicopter tours at Fisherman's Wharf. When he would refuel, we would go down there and fly with him to Sausalito to the fuel station. It was such a nice way to see the bay and it's sights.

Hmmm - there are many who fly (fixed wing) who won't fly by helicopter. You fly by helicopter but are afraid to fly fixed wing??????????????????????????????

Glad it's not just me having issues with Photobucket and C@...:whistle:

That was in 1980 or so. I haven't flown in a helicopter for a long time. I haven't been in a plane for about 11 years.

I must admit that I don't see anything between the helicopter and the ship - even with my glasses on and the page magnified to 400%. :(

If the Princess website is correct, the price of the April 7 cruise has gone down so that my cabin is $800 less on the April 7 cruise vs. the April 28 cruise. :madd:

The ship is much less filled on April 7th, possibly because of Easter and Passover that occurs April 6-13, 2012. Some of my more observant Jewish Clients do not like to cruise over certain holydays and some of my more observant Christian Clients don't like to be away over Easter. It's not a general statement - simply some don't care to be away from family and friends over certain holidays/holydays.

I understand. I would rather be home on Easter to have traditional family dinner with daughter and new son-in-law to be.
