Sea Princess Ducks and DITs!!!

After a 3 week flight (actually they said only 6 1/2 hours but they lie a lot) we finally made it home. Don't know who was happier that we were home, us or our furbabies. Have spent what little time we've been awake being loved constantly by them.

What can I say about this cruise? How about - BEST CRUISE EVER! Doesn't seem to quite describe it. I'm not sure there are any words for this one. Meeting old friends again, meeting new friends for the first time, what a great group of ducks. There are especially no words to describe our Queen Duck. Mary Ann, you are amazing! Do we have to wait 2 years for another duck cruise?

Thanks to everyone for making this the best cruise ever.

We are all home too. It was so good to meet up with some board folks for the first time, and reunite with old friends as well! From Pre-Cruise fun in SF and through the entire cruise it was one great time fer sure, and we feel richer in the new friends we met!

As for our Queen Quack, and Travel Agent Supreme...what can we say???
Your level of caring and concern to insure everything, and everyone is taken care of, simply can not be topped. In addition your generosity was once again far far over the top!

A HUGE THANK YOU and hugs from the Joisey Bunch!!!

I'm delighted to see that our Duckies are arriving home safely, and I cannot thank all of YOU enough for your very kind comments. Ducky cruises are a team effort, and my thanks go out to all of YOU for making the cruise the success it was.

We finally made it home at 2:00 AM Sunday, thanks to a Hertz Rental Car, and the luggage arrived at noon Sunday. Going back to work today was a bummer! I keep telling myself that if I want to go on another cruise with Mama Duck, I have to keep working, so I'll DO it. Thanks a million to Mama Duck and the rest of our new friends for the best cruise ever!!!

Back to reality!

Drove home from S.F. after a short visit with my step-mom and arrived in Sparks at 8:30 pm. Did 3 loads of laundry (the rest will have to wait) and hit the sack at 3:00 am. Got up Sunday and my world was still waving, but the land not, so had some dizzyness, and adjusting to do! After working all day at a major fundraiser (big success) for a good friend and musician in need due to medical problems, got to bed late again. Monday morning it was back to work and school at the local junior college. I went home at 7:00 pm and had to look at the big group "DUCK CREW" picture to make sure I hadn't dreamed the whole trip. (ITS WAS REAL!!!!!)

I sure enjoyed meeting all of you. It was a vaction I won't soon forget and one that was different from all others. Thank you Mama Duck for planning so many great activities and giving us lots of extra ways to have fun. QUACK!

I just realized I posted on AFT when I got back but not here.

What a cruise, the quackingest best EVER! I laughed for 10 days straight, had a great time, got a lot of rest, and made some great friends. Mary Ann, you made this trip unforgettable. Thank you thank you thank you.

I did learn three things though...

1. A 10 day cruise certainly makes you forget how to turn on your stove.

2. I have to admit that I am glad that I didn't take Kiefer on the ship. A cruise cabin bathroom would not fit the two of us! :duh:

3. Don't share cruise stories at work. I've been called FLEABAG for the last 2 days... :hammer:

I'm overjoyed that everybody had a fun time on this cruise. But please remember that all of you contributed to make this such a wonderful cruise. There were no sourpusses to drag it down.

May your memories continue to be happy ones, and for those who can, we'll set out sights on our next Duck Crew cruise.

I did indeed enjoy! Great photos, Tobyn.

BTW, perhaps I missed it, but who came closest to guessing the number of posts here? I know I didn't quite realize how quacky the Crew would be pre-cruise and missed it by a mile:spyglass:!

Okay Mary Ann. I had to do a LOT of searching. It appears the list I made on this thread disappeared when the change occurred. I finally found my handwritten notes, and from what I have in my notes, it appears Gram was the closest with approximately 5400 posts. Note positive if my notes are accurate, but the hard data was lost in the change over. In any case, Judi came in second with 5091 and you third with 5000. Congrats!

Thanks for the stats, Tobyn. The Duck Crew was quackier than I thought! :D

We'll see what happens once the next Ducky cruise is announced.
