Our best approach to cruising is we plan on staying in the stateroom we booked, and eating with the tablemates we're assigned, and if we do any better than that (an upgrade or dinner with the captain or an officer), it's icing on the cake.

I know Ph, actually you did BETTER than the Capt. table...

Libby, yea me too, it's just kind of a running joke about me getting invited to the Captains table. Never happened but I consider it HIS loss not mine!;)
WHY are you glad they upped it??=huh
So it doesn't dilute the premium of the more high-end cabins.

Good deals on staterooms and even JS are awesome...the higher-end cabins should be reserved to those who really can afford 'em.

But what if they are not sold out by sailing? Why not give someone who normally cant afford it a break??

Besides I know if that RS is available at sail time, they wont sell it......they'll use it as a Bingo prize....seen that happen more than once......

I know quite a few folks that can afford any suite, but get inside cabins.
I'm with PH, give the ones that can't afford a suite a chance for a once in a lifetime cabin at a reasonable price. The bean counter revenue departments are going to ruin cruising.
