Veendam Ducks and DITs!!!

Caught me just in time - heading out the door for some quick errands.
Plain and simple - I HATE to leave Pucci, and he HATES to be separated from me.
The new sitter has 3 little pooches (whom we've met) and it's her Aunt who took Simon).
Our private Ducky activities, Earl:
Sailaway Party compliments of our Agency, hosted by me, starting at 5:00pm in the Crow's Nest - we'll have easy access to the decks to see the sights as we sail down the Hudson River. You should have invitations in your cabin.
Pinnacle Grill Lunch - June 1st at 12:00pm and 12:30pm, with my personal compliments. You should have information in your cabin, including who goes at what time.
Deck Party in the Retreat area - June 2nd from 11:30am to 1:00pm, with my personal compliments. Buffet and selection of drinks will be offered.
Private Bridge Tour - has been confirmed, but I must arrange this once on board Veendam. It's at the Captain's discretion.
As with any group, these activities are open only to the Duck Crew.
Again, safe travels - must run.

Just a real quick note. Am in Joplin, MO and we're busy as the proverbial one-legged man in a butt kicking contest.
Will have a lot to brief when I see y'all on Sunday.
Am getting busted out of here tomorrow morning, flying to dc and then driving up to Newark.
May have to go back immediately on return, but will be going on the cruise!

Oh Mary Ann....I'm in the same boat as you are...I am feeling sick about leaving the terrorists. I hate packing...not the clothes so much but the "stuff"....I hate the looooooong flights to get me there but most of all I just hate leaving my "boys" (and my Mom too but at least she understands what is going on!!)

Beryl, I know what you mean about leaving the terrorists! Mama Duck, Cocoa just got sick right in front of me, but at least it wasn't on top of my suitcase, which has been his "outlook post" since the suitcases came out of the attic. He has just come in from rolling in some weed in the back yard that has "velcro seeds" and it took me 25 minutes to get all of them combed out of his hair. I have a picture! Bandit isn't having anything to do with either of us tonight. The critters just don't like disruptions in their lives! jk just called and she and sk are stuck in the Baltimore airport for a 4 hour flight delay, so they will be tired duckies by the time they get to NYC tonight. Calgon, glad you are going to get to cruise! I wouldn't have bet on it at all!!! Please treat my old alma mater kindly - they need lots of TLC in Joplin.

Thats it! I am finish working, I took the day off tomorrow. lots to do , hair cut , buy some American money,Check my list to make sure Everything is pack and then tomorrow night put the suitcases beside the door , wake up at 6 o`clock in the morning and then off to the airport. See you all on Sunday afternoon at the crow`s nest!!

Day started at 4:00 am with a two and a-half hour drive from (what's left of ) Joplin, MO to Kansas City to catch my flight. Delts did manage to find my lost luggage from Monday (it ended up in NYC and I wurked the week in Joplin with the clothes on my back and a change of underwear that I bought in a thrift shop. Got back to the DC area. Hit the office and did my travel voucher and time sheet for this week and next. A quick run to my batchelor pad; swappe3d out suitcases and on the road to Newark. Arrived at 1:00 am. One tired duckie!
Then, to get the sucky news about Mama Duck!
SunFlower, NewMoon and Bug arrive at 6:00 am. Off to get a couple hours sleep before I have to go pick 'em up.
