Almost right Maw...there is NO Princess Shuttle on the 25th...we will have to book shuttle with Quick to get to Vancouver and we make our own reservations at Blue Horizon too. Lori can book shuttle for 6/9 from Vancouver to Seattle where she can book you into the Doubletree hotel for the night.

Sorry for the delay as I have been up to my eyeballs in alligators today. :madd: I think U made the right decision Denise on getting ALL the travel out the way in one day. For the transfer up as Denise mentions maw U will need to use Quick Shuttle and their web site is at the Link Below.

Vancouver, Seattle Bus Transportation

For the way back on 6/9 from Vancouver to Seattle Lori can set up the bus transfer thru Princess and the Double Tree hotel arrangements. We had Lori go ahead with putting us down for the Princess Transfer back to Seattle so we are ALL set to go for our return. Hopefully red & I can finalize our Pre Cruise stay this weekend if I can kill ALL these alligators.

It looks like from the new confirmation that I got back from Jenn that there was a $280 price drop for my inside II sailing on 6/2 but checking the Princess website no price drop on the 5/26 sailing yet....

All right! Just checked my email and got an updated Invoice for the 5/26 sailing with a $118 pp price reduction and it was $130 pp for the 6/2 not $140.

Glad to see EVERYONE is crossing the T's and doting the I's in their finalization of travel plans for The Voyage of the Glaciers. I believe we pretty much completed ALL of our arrangements yesterday for BOTH the Pre & Post Cruise.

We finally pulled the plug and got our High Speed Ferry arrangements to Victoria setup. After arriving in the morning at SeaTac we will taxi to the High Speed Ferry and check in and have a couple hours to journey around Pikes Market and grab a bite to eat. Then mid afternoon we will catch the High Speed Ferry to Victoria and arrive at our hotel. Finalized he hotel stay in Victoria also as we got a Gr8 deal on a 4* resort for around $120 a night on the waterfront on Hotwire.

After some further research we decided to stay the entire Pre Cruise in Victoria and thoroughly enjoy the Butchart Gardens then arrive in Sat. Morning in Vancouver.
:boogie: We will catch the Bus/Ferry over to Vancouver for what we know will begin a 2 week Fun Filled adventure onboard the Diamond Princess with ALL of U. We also received confirmation back from Jenn that our Post Cruise Princess transfer is complete. So now all that is left is to countdown the next 120 days.

Think I solved the price reduction thing. Balconies are really a pricey item yet on this cruise. I am still looking forward to joining the group. I will finish tightening up my travel and hotel plans for the first part of trip. You will love the Victoria part Red and E. Paw would love the Butchert gardens but we will settle for Robson street in Vancover.

Yup they are maw as EVERYONE wants those balconies for the Glacier Views. :boogie: There are still a bunch available so pricing may still drop. If NOT we shall be happy with the price reductions already received. Tell paw he can live thru Cuz E's camera lens in regards to the Butchart Gardens photos.

I got rel tempted in the lower price on insides yesterday so I am back in an inside cabin. Niece did we just trade cabins again. If not I am your next door neighbor again. You just can't get away from me. In L250.

Yes Maw, you are now next door to me as we are in L246. On the Grand Princess we were in L250 and you were booked in L246...though we all know you didn't get to use it :( This inside is half the price of the lowest level balcony....yet only steps away for the outside decks where we can view the glaciers....

Nice reduction in fare maw and I am sure we will have a few Bloody Mary/Danish gatherings on our balcony for the Group on the glacier viewing days. Also Congrats Denise on that nice balcony upgrade for your upcoming winter getaway cruise.

LOL Maw, that is right. When we first book this back in early 2011 we were in L250 and you in L246. Then I cancelled when we decided to do the family cruise thinking it would be too hard on the budget. When we decided to go for broke and rebooked you had just upgraded to the balcony and I grabbed your L246. So, yes, we've been playing "Musical Cabins"

Speaking of Living ONLY Once ... Living is nearing reality as we just made a LARGE downpayment on the Back 2 Backs and received a nice price reduction as well as confirmation of our Carnival Shareholder credit. Now what to do with ALL that shipboard credit from the combo Ghost Booking, Skyscraper Credits, and Carnival Shareholder Credit  ... I see Bloody Marys and Mudslides in my dreams. Next month will entail Final payment and then the FUN Begins til we actually ALL walk down that gangway. :boogie:

Hoas anyone booked any excursions yet- plan to book train on first part of cruise so can share with Daw and Jim. Want to do a whale watch on one section. Other wise expect it will be a lot of scootering around the various stops if it isn't raining to hard. Not sure what to expect in weather for this cruise as we have goner in late summer and run into rain before.
