Hoas anyone booked any excursions yet- plan to book train on first part of cruise so can share with Daw and Jim. Want to do a whale watch on one section. Other wise expect it will be a lot of scootering around the various stops if it isn't raining to hard. Not sure what to expect in weather for this cruise as we have goner in late summer and run into rain before.

Yup ... Booked the Glaciers Views on the Balcony at Hubbard Glacier, College Fjord, and Glacier Bay. Sorry could NOT resist as those days will be truly joyous to share wit h @ddicts Friends and a Bloody Mary or Two. We are definitely looking at the White Rail in Skagway and Whale Watch in Juneau with Capt. Larry. Also looking into Tracy's Crabshack and a beer at The Red Dog Saloon. Will most likely book excursions on our own outside of Princess as that way we can select the daily itinerary depending on the weather conditions. In Ketchikan we have NO set plans as of now but hope to get down to Creek St again for some time there. I should take a peak at the Princess offerings just in case something NEw pops out at moi. maw ... I would definitely put in a reservation for the White Rail thru Princerss now as that is a VERY popular excursion.

I don't think you'll have any problems booking the White Rail either on the ship or walk up. When I cruised last year at the same time it wasn't full. I still recommend renting a car and driving up to the Klondike. There's so much more to see this way.

Found temps yesterday in June abt 50-60 great scootering temps. No heavy coats.Daw hope you and Jim are getting ready to walk-remember a block can be a mile in E language.

In Skagway we will be booking train for sure. One time we had a whole car to ourselves it wa equpped for handicapped. they picked scooters up ond put in car. Had a nice little pot belly stove to keep us warm. We were very comfortablke. They had a cooler of pop or water to choose from. There is a narration to tell you abt what happened -was good too. Good choice E.

My heart beats a little faster everytime I see the whales. I sure am looking forward to seeing them on one of days in Jueneau. We actually have some eagles who nest in our area. We see them over around dam when lake frozen and down on river between here and Bolivar-Billy 3 lived in a cabin on bluff down there and could see the nests.
