Tamra - Our backyard is supposed to look like a magazine, but I've got a lot of work left to do. Ally spends most of her TV time watching HGTV and getting ideas from that. I'll e-mail you some pics of what we've done. The one thing I can say is that all our landscaping has been done by us, no outside help. When we bought the house, the yard was an overgrown acre of weeds, scrub brush, and trees. We kept almost all the trees, except a few that have died, planted a few more trees and planted numerous plants, bushes, flowers, etc. We are not lawn people. The litle bit of lawn we do have is a mix of natural grass and natural weeds. The only watering and feeding the grass gets is whatever nature provides. All I do is mow it every once in awhile and think of ways that I can remove more grass and lay down bark mulch.
Okay, out to run and then work on the dry creek bed. Ya'll have a fun weekend.
