Tamra, our email is snookyloo@yahoo.com. I have not yet gotten my computer to scan the 35mm pics to the right format. I'm still having technical dificulties!
Hope everyone is doing good. We are fighting a nasty cold that's gone thru 2 houses in the family before settling on ours. Darn fall...
I'm at work so I have to scoot, but will check back in soon. Take care, Jill

If anyone remembers I had the ole' clunker camera!!! It is a a very old Canon AE1. It was the camera that I could not get the flash to work at the Meet & Mingle. That's why I don't have any M&M photos :( It's very heavy to carry around but it does take good pictures. I took 8 rolls of film which I had developed @ Wolf Camera. Kinda' high is price there but they do a great job on the developing. Yes, all my pic's look like postcards, especially the ones from top of Paradise Point in St. Thomas!! Wish I could share all my pic's with everyone......but I know that is not possible. Hope everyone has a great day!!!!! We are heading out for our last camping trip of the season. It's a bummer too cause they have been calling for sunshine this weekend and I wake up to find out it going to be mostly cloudy and rain starting tomorrow!!! BUMMER....oh' well. Melissa, see ya'll next weekend! Can't wait to show you all my photos and see yours. Got all the stuff yesterday to make the Brunswick Stew and BBQ. I'll be set. Chat later with you Island Hoppers!!!!!! :) '

Nice! Well, it was worth carrying it around I'd say!! I was really disappointed with all the shots that I used the digital zoom on. I would not recommend Snapfish for developing. It's a great place to share and let friends and family see photos, but I'm goin elsewhere from now on for developing. Sounds like you have a fun weekend planned rain and all. We are not going to the lake house this weekend with Meg haveing Homecoming tonight. This next weekend or so we're going to have to think about winterizing the boat. :( Take care and have a great weekend everyone!!!!!

Did evryone enroll in the Crown and Anchor Society while on the cruise? We did this the last night. I just called and our kit will arrive in 6-8 weeks from sept 22 date- the crown and anchor mag will arrive about same time. Will get the mag every quarter - you will also receive emails about rci promo's every so often.
If you have not enrolled, you may want to take care of that so you can get the above info!

Hi ya'll, Since this was our 2nd cruise with Royal Caribbean we were already Crown and Anchor members, so I can probably answer your questions.

Becoming a member is free, so you might as well enroll.

You only need to have completed 1 cruise, so all the Island Hoppers are eligible.

As far as the benefits go... you get the magazine, which includes coupons for discounts off future cruises you might book, plus you're eligible for special discounted member cruises which they have several times a year on various ships.

To start off you'll be a Gold Member, and the more cruises you take the higher you move up in the membership ladder. Platinum and Diamond are the next higher levels and with each higher level you get more benefits.

As a Gold Member on the AOS cruise, Richard and I got a coupon book with a bunch of good coupons in it that we used on the ship. The coupons were for stuff like buy one, get one free on drinks, also match play coupons in the casino, and a coupon to attend the wine tasting for free. The wine tasting normally costs $10, so that's a pretty good deal. In addition to the coupon book, you get an invitation to the past guests cocktail party, where you get free drinks. They also left us some gifts in our cabin as a thank you for cruising with Royal Caribbean again.

I hope that covers all the questions. If not, I'll check back later. Ally

Hey Michelle,

I'll post for ya so you have something to read. Ally won't like me telling ya'll this but we celebrated her birthday yesterday. We took a nice road trip to a small artisan community called Wimberley about an hour SW of Austin and bought a bunch of stuff we didn't realize we couldn't live without. Then we stopped at a metal work shop and bought a metal bench for the garden and a sculpture of some sort that will be planted in the garden and some type of vine-plant will grow on it.

Ally and I and our son David and his GF are going to Red Lobster for all-you-can-eat shrimp. I know it's not the greatest seafood restaurant, but Ally's loves it and we love the AYCE shrimp deal.

We are all off work and school tomorrow...thanks Chris! Aly and I are going to celebrate the holiday by trying to finish our dry creek in the backyard.

By the way, I know ya'll want to ask Ally how old she is. She turned 29 yesterday.

See ya'll,

Rich

Rich - I bet your and Ally's yard looks like something out of a magazine. We have a dry creek bed that goes around our back yard and also one that angles across our front pasture on our "to finish" list among many other yard finishing lists. Is a wonderful hobby that reaps many rewards . Nothing like a beautiful yard/sanctuary.
Happy Birthday Ally- there's nothing like being 29!!!!!!!!! I'd like to be stuck there myself ;)
Michelle- there is no place like home- especially after going someplace else!
We have been slacking on the posts here haven't we? Brad is out of town so the kids and I rented 6 movies to watch over the long 4 day weekend we have together. Got a great carry-out dinner last night from Italian Pie- may do frozen pizza tonight - going to a Hibache grill Japanese place mon. for lunch- did Mexican fri night- am I making you all hungry?
Will check back later- off to walmart to see what kind of pics I can copy off the digital for you all!!
Is raining cats and dogs here- the pool is going to overflow if I don't get instructions soon from my pool guy (Brad)

OK, back from Red Lobster...all I could think of was the Seinfeld episode where the guy says to George, "Hey George, the ocean called and said they were running out of shrimp!" We ate more than our share.

Like Ally says, the diet starts tomorrow.

David's GF was kind enough to buy Ally a little birthday gift. I told Ally it must be serious if the GF is trying to get on the good side of the mom-lady.

Well, gotta go sleep...big day tomorrow with the running and the yard work and the dieting.

Rich

Sp glad to see some posts!!!! Way to go Rich and Tamra!!!! Rich, tell Ally Happy Belated B/D!!! I am also a Libra but try not to think about going past 29. Now I know why there were so many kids camping this weekend...........kids are out of school. WIth me not havin' any it's hard to keep up with when they are in or out of school. Kids were crawling all over the campgrounds this weekend which kept the dogs in an uproar. Anyway, have a good evening..............chat with you guys tomorrow. And Jodi.........I still need your address please. Has anyone heard from Jodi or know her address?
