by the way I asked the lady at work about her southern carribean cruise and it was out of Miami for 9 day. It was over Easter and she said she thinks it might of been a special sailing as they were getting ready to send the ship to Europe. It was NCL and it was packed with kids as it was spring break.
She is not to sure if that will ever be offered again.
Any way you can check with NCL to see if they have anything out of Miami later in the year to southern part.
Sorry for getting your hopes up for a cuise that goes there from FLA.

Hi guys - bad news. I didn't get the job. I'll post more when I cool down a little more. In a nutshell, here's what happened....you've done an outstanding job....you did great bringing the hospital through the surveys......you are quite a talent......you are deifinitely an up and comer....you've got the support of management, no one can question that.....we've hired somene else who starts on the 23rd.....HUH?

Rest assured this is going to come back and bite them. A typical business model should be to prepare / promote those deserving within the organization, not the other way around. I can't believe they are bringing someone in from the outside, when they had someone already within successfully keeping things afloat...something seriously wrong with that. Needless to say I have a funny feeling this isn't over with yet. Something tells me they are going to regret this decision. Anyway, keep your chin up; I have no doubt you are destined for much bigger / better things.

Whoa - I am confused. Of course Greg and I just split a large pitcher of margaritas at the Fiesta Jalapeno up the street. Intercontinental or Radisson????
Still ticked about the job thing....though not as ticked after the pitcher of margaritas.
We booked Las Vegas today, and we're staying for 5 nights at the Venetian. I hope the hotel is as beautiful as I think it is. The suites have flat screen tv's in the bathroom. How classy is that???

Thanks Jim - and I am going to look forward to Las Vegas. I just looked at the pool and also found the outlet mall closest to the strip, which includes a Coach and a Burberry store. Goodbye interim director pay!

Sheree, when is your Vegas trip? Courtney and I are talking about going to Vegas for our 5 year anniversary! We went to Vegas about 4 or 5 years ago! We went to the Venetian to look around! They have an AWESOME spa if you like spas! Canyon Ranch is the name!

Hey Sheree, sorry to hear about the job. I would be pretty pi**ed off to. Booze always helps. I do have to say that everything happens for a reason and it is possible another opportunity is going to present itself that will be better for you and maybe at a different hospital.
We had our first corporate party and did an indoor/outdoor with our tent outside and it was great. We are loving this set up. We are already talking about our holiday party. How about a Winter Wonderland Luau! It is going to be fantastic!
George, we are in for dinner and if we can arrange to stay a night we will consider that. Although recently being on the Mariner I may have to jump in someone suitcase! Any one bringing a large trunk! :lol
