Well George - it's a good thing that you made productive use of your sick day! Hope you are feeling better.
We actually had to turn the furnace on for the first time Saturday night. There was supposed to be a frost this morning but I didn't see it when I left so I don't know if it happened or not.
Jim - glad your dear friend is doing well. My brother-in-law Steve is having surgery Thursday morning to clear out a corrotted artery. I know I am probably spelling that wrong. Anyway - hopefully after his surgery our family won't be spending any more days in the hospital waiting rooms!
Did anyone want me to scan the St John article to them? It's not that exciting, but if you'd like some info so we can begin research, I'll send it to you. Regina - what kind of shops did they have? Flea market type stores, or what?

Oh - and I forgot to comment about the Rams almost messing up the draft pick. When the game started, I told Greg that we should've placed a friendly wager.....then when the Rams were doing well we commented that we're glad we didn't call you....but then thankfully our Browns pulled it off! Yep - maybe they can make it through the season with the worst record, George! That's something to shoot for!

What a rainy, soggy week we are having in "The Sunshine State." Needless to say, we didn't make Sea World this past weekend.

My Haitian lizards are waiting to be hung. Maybe, Greg will hang them before the next cruise? You should come over and tell him where to hang them. The placement of the lizards on your patio wall looks great!

Good morning all,
Another day in bed, the meds not quite working as of yet. I just got through watching an hour long infomercial on the Magic Bullet. While I am truly bored, the product does have quite a few everyday uses.
Anne and I are currently researching a May cruise on either the Monarch of the Seas (4 days) or Vision of the Seas (7 days). The Monarch would pretty much be a free cruise with our credit card points. The cons are the ship was built in 1991 and doesn't look like much has been done to it as far as refurbishments. The vision is obviously more money, bt is much newer as well. We are counting pennies to see if we can make the Vision work.

Just checking in, not much new here. I had to replace the breaks on bubbas jeep.. we are all done with that. Tryed to install a new throttle cable on Bobbies van but we cut it to short I have another one comming I am glad it is only 4.99

I was thinking I need a cruise before the mariner too. but I am not sure if I can swing it...we will have to see.

You guys are making me jealous talking about taking a second cruise!
George - my mom has had a Magic Bullet since they came out - but my Slushie Express still makes a better margarita. She uses hers for smoothies all the time and we tested it once making margaritas and it doesn't work as well. The infomercial is impressive though. Hope you are feeling better.
I hope the weather is better in Florida....and Barb, you get a chance to head to Sea World! Sea World by us closed - I haven't seen Shamu for years! Is it still raining down there? We're supposed to be close to 70 today, so that's good for the kids tonight.

Hi guys - geez, it's November! We didn't get a single trick or treater last night. We don't have any sidewalks in front of our house, so that probably keeps them away.
My brother-in-law is in surgery right now. Greg took the day off to be with his sister today, but I have to head off to work.
Barb - it would be cool to see Jack Hannah. He's always interesting to see on TV.

Hope everyone enjoyed Halloween. Greg took Joey and Mattea trick-or-treating in our neighborhood. Both came home with a bucket full of candy. Seems like we had more children participating this year. We gave out 4 bags of candy.
Both of our Grandchildren spent the night last night. Needless to say, I don't feel very rested. Joey likes to sleep horizontal in our bed.
