We were on AirTran for our San Fran flight and they suck........
If you get a flight with them you better ask for first class or for isle 10 or you are going to have to cut off your legs George. Tom and I both on the way out were stuck in the middle seats and it was almost a 5 hour flight. No food, no movie and the worst seats on the flight. It was horrible. From san fran to Atlanta we were in Isle 10 and that is the first row behind first class and the difference in the space for your legs was unbelieveable.

Hi All,
Well my baby girl turned 21 today, I got Bobbie a digital video camera ( she don`t know it yet but she is taking all the cruise videos) Next year my baby boy will be 21. George I bet you can`t wait to say that :) We are in cruise mode... everyone knows exactly how many days we have till we cruise. We are getting all the stuff to the cleaners this week and I am checking the cruise list for what we need. Bobbie has already started packing.
George,
I will have my laptop with me and both batterys charged...so no worries there. I will also bring the cooler for the hotel.

I have been checking out Grills menu for the fun night out to eat with the Big Cats..... O Girls this was the place we all first met so I hope yall can make it.

I am so ready to cruise this year, I don`t remember if the Mariner has a good sports bar, but we need to find a place we can watch a game. TMAPABAY ALL THE WAY.

Poor Tommy!!! :wave I hope you guys had a good trip overall, though! Regina, what was the meeting for? Was this a trade show or something?

We've always been okay with Airtran, but last year we had a lot of changes in our flight times. The only thing that sticks out in my mind was that wait to get home, but once we were on our flights it wasn't bad. For this trip, we are on Continental going down to Florida, and Northwest coming back. We've never flown Northwest before.

Jim, congrats on all the birthdays. I can't believe the kids are getting older. They were so mature when we met them, but now their ages are catching up and they actually all are young adults now! I can't believe Bobbie is 21 now. Wow!

Off to work today for me and a day of clases for Greg. I've got the countdown going at work.

Did we ever settle the Chops night? We'll have to plan on doing the same thing as last year and make reservations as soon as we board.

I've got 20.5 work days left.....not bad!

Jim, I was wondering "did I say Bobbie or Bubba" then I re-read my post and I guess I did say both of them were young adults....oh well! Either way, it's amazing to think that next year all of the kids will be 21 or over. Isn't Bubba's birthday right around cruise time?

George, did you have fun shopping yesterday? The kids go back to school early your way. Here they are going back around the 25th, which is earlier than normal for this area, but I think they are back earlier because Labor Day is so early.

Regina, you are going to just get caught up from laundry from this trip and then it's time to pack again.

Ok- off to the dentist, then off to work. Fun, fun!

20 days for Anne (works four tens) and 22 for me...but we will be on vacation (in orlando) first!

Sheree, sorry for not calling you back, the warden was in a shopping frenzy and the daughter needed more stuff for her classes. Her first day was good...although she spent much of it in the office getting 3 schedule changes.

Hi Cats....19.5 days left....you guys are subtracting a day for Labor Day, right?

Sheila, I think we all have our docs now. YEAH! =docdance

George, don't worry about not calling. I totally understand that my sista Anne needs to have her shopping needs met, so you need to be the obedient husband, carry her bags, and smile as you open your wallet.

Hope everyone is doing well....Barb, are you out there lurking???

Good afternoon all,

Just got through writing a complaint to the Department of Transportation to see if they can help in getting our tickets on Frontier endorsed over to another airline. I know it's a stretch, but I figured I would try anyway. I find it deplorable how airlines treat it's customers. Remember this is the same industry that just recently got a 15 billion dollar tax payer gift to save their a**es...talk about short term memory!

Happy Birthday Bobbie :) Jim, thanks for remembering.

Hey Cats....

Wow, Regina, you really took the the smiley's and ran with it!! LOL

Happy belated birthday Bobbie and Calum.

Yes we have been very busy at the studio thank goodness. Doris and I purchased a home and closed last friday 08-08-08! We have been painting the new house to get it ready for our move at the end of the month. We are so excited. I have been packing to.

Jim, I remember when you moved us into the townhouse. That was over 3 years ago. Doris and I are ready. We really needed to get into a home with no stairs. They have not been good for Doris. Anywho, just wanted to share the good news. Will probably not post much in the next few weeks since we will be getting ready for the move on the 30th.

Can't wait to see all of you the night before your cruise!

Congrats Dee,

I know what you mean about the stairs and how they impact buying decisions. We passed on many two story bargains that were twice the home of our current one. Many times we almost talked ourselves into it...including one we actually had a contract on...only for common sense to kick in and the realization of the long term impact they would have on Anne.

On the move front, if you can wait until the 13th of next month, I know some guys that are really good at that...they also do great roof repairs as well :D Ahhh, the good old days :D
