Awww...George....you miss me? :loveya You little cross-dressing devil, you!

Regina, I thought you meant someone was picking on you for all of your smiles! I think they are cute. Actually, you contributed a catch phrase to the group....man up Big Cat, man up!

Sheila, so glad you posted here again. We'll definitely have to enjoy a few drinkies with you all. I am going to be brave and smuggle like we always have. I'll carry on my Diet Coke, Margarita Mix and water in my tote bag, and Greg will sneak the Tequila in his duffel bag, which will be checked through. He usually wraps it in t-shirts and a plastic bag and it's in the middle of all of his clothes. The Slushie Express usually goes in my garment bag.

1 more day this week, 5 next week, 4 the next, 4 the next, and either 3 or 3 1/2 the next.....not that I am counting! And one of those days is in a classroom all day, and one day is a day I'll be getting my new office furniture, so not much will be going on in the office that day. YAAAAAAAAY!

George was that your way of admitting you are an old man? (you know that mature remark)

Hey Sheila glad you stopped by to say hi. now you know that when you pack this early that you are going to take it all out and change it (remember I read the posts last year) and then at the last minute you are going to take out more and put other stuff in. I have made a pack this year. I am traveling light this year. One bag for booze and one bag for clothes.
There will be little or no make up mostly flip flops and one pair of dress sandals that will go with everything.

Any bets from any of you to see if I can really do that? I could use a little extra cash.

Regina
(just felt the need to sign so you would not confuse that post as Toms...... the clothes horse and make up freak that he is)

Sheree,
Did you check out the Rum Runner things on Amazon? I am going to get those for our 9-nighter in January. The way those work (as I have been told, lol) is you can squeeze virtually all the air out, when they scan them, they are not going to appear viscous...I think it is worth a whirl! LOL Woo hoo...drinkie's in the cabin, drinkie's in the cabin...hehehe We definitely want to hang out with you all...it is going to be one wild ride for sure!

Sheila - didn't check out the rum runners yet. I know I've seen info on them on the other boards. I will check them out.

Regina, I've got confidence in your packing ability. I am behind you, my cruising sista. I, personally, know I am going to overpack. I know there are days that I am in a swimsuit and t-shirt all day, or that I wear something more casual to dinner than planned. Then I have left over outfits. Oh well! I'm going to cut back on the toiletries and stuff instead. And I think I'll watch the shoes too. One thing about flip flops - they pack so flat. I love them.

And remember girls, you've got nothing on our mature cruising buddy George....remember, he does his packing dry run about 3 weeks in advance. It's about time for that, isn't it Studmuffin???

You are correct, we already have everything in piles, just got to get dry cleaning done and then we will do a dry run.

Forgot to tell you all...last week I filed a complaint with the Dept. of Transportation regarding the flight changes on Frontier. Yesterday I got a call from a Corp type who is looking into getting us alternate flights....should know Monday or Tuesday.

It was sort of a half-hearted attempt of convincing you that I was above such childish behavior...did you buy it ? :D

Our ability to over-pack is going to largely depend on how this airline thing shakes out.

Regina, what you failed to mention was how much space you are going to take up in Tommy's luggage :D

Hi Cats!

All this packing-talk is making me want to go start right now! LOL Actually, we have the clothes for the cruise sequestered...Jimmy(hubby) is not allowed to touch them or he risks losing a hand, lol

I had trouble getting on this site yesterday...did anyone experience that?

Have a super day everyone!:daisy

I couldn't get on either - and I felt like I might've missed something - but I guess we all had that problem!

Oh...we are getting so much closer...(see ticker)....

Sheila -that's a good threat for the hubby - touch that, and you are losing a hand. I might apply that rule here at home! I am glad Greg packs for himself....though sometimes I need to remind him how many days he needs to pack for!
