I went on a Carnival cruise with 3 bottles of wine and put them in my bags and not hand luggage and they arrived to my room intact.

Sailed the Jewel Feb 10-18. Wrapped 750ml of Absolut and Bacardi in small bubble wrap. Both were packed together in our luggage. They arrived in tact to our stateroom. We purchased club soda and coke and put it in our frig. This was used exclusively for before dinner drinks. We purchased a wine package for dinner and had after dinner drinks in various lounges.

It is not a matter of being an alcoholic or cheap. It is kind of like going to the dollar store and buying your candy before a movie. Why pay 5 bucks when you can get it for 1. I hate being ripped off. I rather give my money to someone who needs it.

This thread is full of a bunch of "Sissys"(and that is a nice way of putting it). It makes me sick watching these herds of cattle follow each other off the cliff.........

Just got back from Ensenada on Monarch of the Seas. I packed 1.75L Grey Goose in my check-in bag, no problems. I heard they confiscate if it's in the hand-carry. BUT, turns out the Duty Free shop has AMAZING prices on liquor. That Grey Goose was only $52 on the boat with no tax. I paid $53 at Costco AND had to wrap it to keep the bottle from breaking and I was scared that they may have confiscated it anyway. 750mL Patron Silver only $35. Tons of other great deals onboard for quality liquor.
