Have to agree with you about the Pest Control guys. I wonder if they sleep well at night!! Killing all
those roaches and ants and other bugs!! YUCK!!

[large]PH: I'd have 2 companies coming through if I lived in Florida. I had a flying bug in our room
while we were down in Florida last week and I had to get up and find it and kill it before I could go to sleep. Remember I'm the one who can't stand a Mosquito flying around in the same room. :girly A bug that comes and buzzes in my ear can make me go nuts until I kill it.

Have a good Thursday everyone. Suppose to still be nice here temp wise. Might rain a little on Sat. They're not positive yet.[/large]

Kathy - I love the pest control company commercials on TV with the "little people" dressed up like bugs! I think they advertise that they don't use anything artificial to kill bugs. Sort of like Truly Nolan (I think that's the name) with the VW done to look like a bug.

Good afternoon.

Really nice day here.....no bugs either, which is natural for us.

Matthew, Patti and Joseph are on Southwest winging their way to Seattle to visit her brother. Just about to the Oregon border.

Yesterday, Nancy and I picked up Joseph at the day care.....took him down to Moss Landing to walk out on a pier to see the sea lions. Then took him to Elkhorn slough to walk along the nature patths and see shore birds etc. Freight train came by, so Joseph and I watched it pass from alongside the tracks.....the engineer was really hanging out the window waving at J....but he missed it......he wanted to jump in the truck and 'catch it', so we did........ next, took him up to Pajaro to the train yards.....we got to see them start 8 locomotives and start moving them around the yard. Couple of Engineers waved and talked to J. we were standing right beside the trains as they moved them.

Up to San Jose for a dermatology appointment for nancy....mine was rescheduled to Monday.

I'm still fuming about Hugh and I don't even know the person! (I cleaned that last word up for here) :X

I think it's great that you guys have those trains and seals so close by. Eric loves trains and we try real hard to find railroad tracks to go over and sometimes a actual train goes by. Not often enough of course.

It was a absolutely lovely day today here. Sunny 82 and no wind. I burnt my arms and neck working outside. I can already feel my legs aching from bending so much. But that's okay.......I need to bend even more....trust me.

Back to the kitchen for me now. I'm making more bake goods for our Choirs Annual Palm Sunday Bake Sale. Yes, I said Palm Sunday, but you guys are all use to that after all these years.

Yea, K2 has been sputtering and showing slight signs of exasperation the last hour or so....it's spilling over into this thread.....which I don't want to happen.

Morning ........

Just called animal control on a loose dog in the 'hood.......hope they come and get it soon................he doesnt look very friendly(and thats why I called).............

Dennis is home and we have to go buy a new battery for the truck(there are 4 but only one is bad now)........always something.....he would love to buy a new truck under warranty,but I think for now,we're better off putting $$$ in this one......has to be expected,it will need stuff with over 750K miles..

GTG.........time for breakfast

Quick post...have been busy with kitten raising. He's up to 12 ounces so must be doing something right. Just not going well with the weaning and box training, but he is on the young end of the time to be doing those things, so I just need to be patient. Between feedings of him, intersperced with feeding Gary and Brandy, I don't have a chance to do much else...have been keeping up on reading the posts just not able to post.

Marcia - Congrats on you son being deputy chief...glad to read the daily travel log of the Energizer Bunny

Hi to everyone else. Going to check the other boards.

Off to get something to eat. It's been a long day over here. Also, want to try and get in a walk around the block before it rains............if it rains.

Note worthy story: The house kitty-corner across the street has 4 kids and Art told me that while I was out today the girls were all outside crying. And then they dug a hole in the shrubs and their parents came out and they all held hands and they buried something in the ground and more tears. I can bet it was something small like a bird or hambster. Poor girls. The Son, who is the oldest, came out after it was all over. I thought that was worth sharing.[/large]
