SAN: Have you been on the Vision of the Sea?? Have you done the Mexican Cruise from LA ?? Also, have you done the New England cruise out of Boston.
Trying to use up our Flight credits with Southwest Airlines this Fall and not sure if a cruise or land vacation is in order!!

I would do the Can/NE one..............we were going to do the Mexican Riveria one you are talking about,but hadnt heard too many good things about the ports..............PLUS the Jewel is a much nicer ship than the Vision...

PH: That's exactly what I told Art about the ships!! Good minds think alike.
I'll have to keep looking around. We could just fly out to the West Coast and pick up a car and drive
the part of the Coast we missed last time around and skip the ship thingy.
Need to find out when the Gilroy Garlic Festival is!! It's July 25-27. Way to early to be flying
around for this family. After all we do have a BIKER in the house!! Hee Hee.

The Vision is a nice ship K2....still in very good shape. PH is correct [in my opinion] about the Mexican Riviera Ports......they're not that good. I think that there are more interesting places to see. Canada/ New England is a good cruise. If you do decide to cruise, why don't you hook up with someone from the boards that already has one booked?

Not that I am aware of. But just about every other itinerary is covered. We'll probably do Celebrity Canada/New England in 2010. CEL has a better itinerary than RCCL.....plus it isn't on a Voyager. Jewel does some 7 dayers, but doesn't go down the Saint Lawrence River.

Aw, just think of the ship as a big hotel....which it basically is. Maybe you should try one of the bigger ones,,,,,some of the Voyager Class are now doing pretty decent itineraries.....even Canada/NE.

Not much going on that i didnt already say elsewhere.................Dennis is on his way to Marathon and Im wondering if there is anything good on TV tonite.......probably not..

Oh yea,Lauren arrived safely in LAX at noon today(our time).....spending the day at Knotts Berry farm...tomorrow is Disneyland...........Sunday is Six Flags.........Monday is Bakersfield..hahaha

Lauren sounds like she's going to have a good time. Where did she meet this YOUNG MAN?? At work??

I feel so bad for Ruttie and her gas tank getting sugar put into after it go emptied. Sounds like something some teenagers would do. Like maybe those ones she yelled at a while back?? Ya just wonder what this world is coming to.

[large]Wow......I did a 3 mile walk this morning early and realized I need to REALLY MAKE SURE I GET OUT there before the SUN comes out!! Can you all say "OUT OF SHAPE"?? :

On my walk I saw this rather big 2 story house that was getting a new roof and there were 11 GUYS on top of the roof all at once ripping and tearing and laying roofing. UNREAL. I actually paused so I could count them all!! It was like a small factory of workers WAY UP THERE working!! I would think with that many workers they could knock out 2 houses a day!!

Just goofing off now that Dennis left for work.......

Lauren called us last night and is having a great time with her "friend"(?).........hehe....more than that,really......I dont think she will want to come home...........or else if she has too much togetherness time,she may be in a hurry to get back...........haha........we'll see...........

There's some very nice people that live in California....it's actually the center of the Universe, so California is close, but everything else is far a way.

I didnt dare tell Dennis about the engaged comment..............he would not be a happy camper....He wasnt even crazy about her going to begin with..............had to remind him she is 23.......he thinks of her as 12,I think......
