Well, maybe he won't come back from Iraq like lots of other Americans. You'd think with fuel prices that way they were, he would watch the unnecessary travel. He's just not in tune with the everyday American.

Kristyne, our pet/house sitter came over tonight just to go over the new stuff with Lucy...she's sat for us before, so just wanted to touch base with her. I cruised with her mom and friends in September, and we still met for parties/dinner. Plus, I work with Kristyne, so see her all the time.

San - Happy travels to you and have a safe and great time.

Kathie - Hospitals/Drs are going to squeeze every penny they can get...you're right, they should have just used a local on him. Hope his recovery is quick, so he can bike, and you can have your house "alone" back.

[size=medium]I caught a little of our Fearless Leaders speech when he got off the plane in Iraq/Iran or wherever he is and they flashed to a Bomb that went off somewhere far from his area. DAMN.......just can't get lucky enough to land in the right place at the right time. He's a flaming ^%$*)+ ! He made that trip so he could add it to his list of places he visited during his tendure.

Okay, I better stop this political stuff or PH will kick my A*S off of here!! :girly

I took you up on the Toe Warranty and got the 4 years or 100,000 miles contract. Looked like the best deal going and it was cheap! :lol

No good reason for NOT posting on here. I'm posting on Facebk and nobody else is!!

I've been busy running around to funeral homes, cemetary's and stuff like that since Sunday. Today
I opted out of going to the 89 yr olds funeral that is on the other side of Detroit close to Toledo border.
Went there yesterday and the construction and traffic was horrible. I feel bad, but I'm funeral'd out and stayed home.

Off to buy some golden raisins to make a braided coffee bread.

It's sunny but still COLD here.

[large]PH: It's suppose to get down into the low 40's tonight and tomorrow it's only going to be
53-55 degrees!! This is so F'ing stupid. I haven't bought any annual plants to put in the garden
because I just know we'll get a frost out here in the suburbs and I can't afford to buy them twice.
Everything is SO HIGH in price this year.

Later..........I have to take Art to the Hospital at 7:30 A.M. for his colonoscopy test!! He's beginning
to be a regular at this hospital!! :girly It's just a routine test. He hasn't had one in about 8 years. Dr
said it was time again at his age!! BETTER HIM THAN ME is all I can say.

Im sure K2 is with Art right now for his "fun"..............good luck to him!!

Hope it warms up more for you too..............I'd actually be willing to share some of the heat......I like it in the 80s better so I can open the windows and not rely on the a/c.....................

Hey there PH!! Test went fine for Art. The Dr snipped one polyp and told him he's good to
go for another 5 years.

Sun keeps coming in and out over here. Today we're not suppose to get past 58 degrees all day. So much
for SPRING!!

Hey you're having the same temps as San........In Ketchikan today,its 54!!

Not sure where PQ is but I say its safe to say it at least 30+ degrees warmer.................

I thought that PQ was on the Carnival Destiny cruise. South Carib.

San and Nancy seem to ENJOY the cool temps in Alaska because when they get back
home it'll be the start of the HOT HOT HOT season. They can have it...........I'm a warm
weather vacation person!! :daisy

I need to make sure to take a few Tylenols tonight, I still feel chilled and acky!! Sure hope
it goes away........I've been so lucky not to be sick all this Winter!! Think I'll add a HOT SHOWER
and VICKS to my list of things to do tonight!! (tu) See I do follow what I preach.!!

Yea Chris is on the Destiny.........I just dont know her itinerary.they dont have it on seascanner,...........

Alaska is really a neat cruise,which we hope to repeat one day.......

Hope you're feeling better today.........you need some sun and warm temps!!

I do feel better this morning. No aches like yesterday and chills.

This weather here SUCKS bigtime. Can't plant a veggie garden because the temps at night are in the 38=40 degrees.
And the days have been freezing and only in the 50's this whole week. Sat & Sun they say we might hit 70.
But then Sunday 40% chance of rain. Oh well, as soon as it gets HOT HOT HOT I'll be complaining about that next.

Thanks for the warm weather you sent us PH. It FINALLY got here this morning!! The
SUN is out and it looks like I might be able to go buy some flowers and dig holes today. Art's biking already
and I'm ready to get my shorts on and get moving over here. Think I'll take 2 Advil before I even START!! :lol

My choir is going to Aliquippa, PA this weekend for the big Serbian Singing Festival. I haven't been going to
choir practice this year and am NOT GOING. 6 1/2 hr bus ride........is not a fun thing at my age. I would have
had to fly there. I'll miss seeing all my friends from ALL over the USA that come to these things, but sometimes
you need to take a break from these things and just do what you WANT to do for a change. I've done Memorial Day
Singing Festivals for 46 years and it's time for a break!! ::eek:

Hope you have a good Memorial Day weekend by you kiddo.

SAN should be home soon. Are they taking the train back home??

Glad you got the temps..........sorry it took so long..should have sent them overnight instead of parcel post.. :lol

6 1/2 hrs on a bus?? That is a long time........I dont blame you for not going.........couldnt use any of that air fare credit you have,huh?? Speaking of ,any plans for using it yet??? We still dont know......we keep saying we'll go here then there and back and forth..........wish I could just get my money back.............we only want to go somewhere for maybe 2 or 3 nights so that limits how far we fly(to make the most of the time)........

Anyway,we may go to Busch Gardens this weekend.........I feel bad we havent been at all this year and Lauren gives us the passes....
