PH the video was really gross it is on BActeria, Viruses, & allergies, and teh kids love it it talks about getting sick from raw chicken (complete with sound effects from both ends of teh siick person) and then shows a lady get bi by a wasp and then have an alergic reaction where she swells up gets spots and stops breatheing then her guy friend pics her up and carroies her to the hospital (the highlight of my day when the hero saves teh heroin) Then it spends like 10 minutes actually showing us how dirty a classroom is and how many germs are found in an average class room. UGHHH got to show it again tomorro wi will be very grossed out by then yuck!!!!
gotta run cub scouts tonight alex is a wolf and michael a tiger so richard and i are tag teaming again....

Hi ALL!!

Yup........PH been really busy with this gardening stuff. I've about had it with it for now. Went and got the Hydraingia (sp) plant from my friends house and we just hugged and cried like little kids. Oh well, they'll be on the road tomorrow evening after the moving truck leaves. I gave her the "TIP" about stopping at Libraries on the way and using their COMPUTERS to let us all know how the drive is going!!

BB: Nice of you to explain everything to Cayman about your "Brother"!!

Marcia: Hello to you if you're around. It was 95 hear today and maybe even higher.

SAN, Mike and Eddie and Negc: You'd be soooooooo proud of me I washed my Zoom Zoom and cleaned the wheels up so the Carbon Dust is finally gone .........for about a hour anyway!! I must be nuts to tackle washing a car in this ungodly heat!!

Okay, I'm all cleaned up and waiting for Artie to get done doing the same and we're off to a local resturant to EAT. Man or man am I tired!! I either need a gardener or a CONDO!! I'll take the GARDENER.......like the one on Desperate Housewives. When does that start up???

OK, it's really time for me to come clean....

My younger sister is one of the smartest women that I know, very good looking, very considerate of others, very educated, very slim, very built, very quiet, very humble, very nurturing and supportive of her husband and family, very dedicated to the Florida School System, very understanding of the difficulties encountered by service people coming to her very large home.....geeeeez, I could go on and on......this young lady is very incredible.....very beyond all words. I think we should designate November 12 as BB Day.....whaddya all think? We could have W show up for a photo op with our exceptional friend. [I think i'm gonna puke.....excuse me for a second.....OK, that's better, blew a few chunks...time to change the subject]

Matthew came up to visit today, he seemed to be feeling better...he and I had a nice visit.

N and I are going to a Gordon Lightfoot concert tomorrow evening....we even got free tickets.

It's OK, PH, I won't hold it against you....everyone is entitled to a little error in judgement once in a while. [Big Grin]

Sorry you are so sad about your friend moving away, K2....that's gotta be hard. Someone already said it.....a good reason for a road trip that includes YVR on May 12.

Thanks SAN.........it is and WILL BE sad for me for awhile. I don't do well with people leaving my ALTO section at choir lately. We've lost 3 of the BEST ALTO's that our choir has ever had and it will be hard to not think of all of them each time I go into that room!! Bummer. That's also what happens when you have such a tight knit extended family that you've know all your lives. Hey........I will get to go visit somewhere I haven't been before.
Wish I could give you a better HEADS UP on YVR May 12, but I just can't. I'm not one to plan ahead that far. And then there's always our annual trip to Longboat Key to think about. If I was a Millionaire I could do them both and then some!! Must I remind you I'm NOT.......so I'll have to pick and choose wisely!!


Okay, I'm off to try and grab the couch first. I'm really tired from a exhausting day!!

Ruttie: Good luck making through another day of showing that film to the other classes. I'm a GERM NUT CASE myself and would most likely love to see the film. They have hand SANITIZERS in all the classrooms where my Grandkids go..........THANK GOODNESS!! I've watched those kids when I've been a Room Helper and it's GROSS where their little fingers are at times! YIKES too many germs.

WE SERIOUSLY NEED TO FIND A SIGHT THAT EVERYONE, MIKE, EDDIE, NECG and anyone else can get on and post easily. I miss everyone NOT being on here.

Marcia must be without her next door neighbor TELEPHONE privledges the last few days. She must be going nuts. Then again.........she might still be asleep on the swing on the back porch!! Hee Hee

BB: Hope you got that gang of yours to help clean up. I'd hate to see your FOOD BILL lately!! I think I'd have to start buying gift certificates to local resturants and just handing them out to the gang to get rid of them. Any luck with the HOUSEHUNTERS??? Tried to post on the other board, but got the dreaded database error message. Even at this hour it's not working! They really need to get it together over there ... grrrr

Bert and SIL are off to some kind of class to learn how to do concrete edging around landscape plants. Jimmy is looking into it as a possible second career. Bert just went along for the ride. That's fine with me, as it gives me a day for myself!!!! I think they also go back tomorrow, so that's even better.

San - Want you to know I almost choked when I read your post. The description was true, of course, but the blowing chunks cracked me up! Don't even suggest having W come to "My Day"!!!!!

Got an email from Jeff yesterday afternoon. Ophelia is headed right at their beach house! As long as the house doesn't sustain major damage, they're set to close on its sale next week. Needless to say, they're holding their breaths, as they really want to get this behind them. That house is way too expensive to keep ... runs them something like $60,000 a year to maintain!

Nav - Have you found your way out of that mountain of dirty laundry yet?

K2 - We're going to have the same kind of heat as you today. Believe it or not, we may set a record! Usually by now we're enjoying high 80s, not 95. We're also not supposed to get any rain, so it will be a dryer heat. I love it!

KC - Where are you? You can't be spending all your free time getting ready for the shower.

KC, GM & PH - Hope the day flies by for you working gals.

Can't remember all these new names you came up with, so I'll just continue to use the old ones, if you don't mind. Heck, I have enough trouble remembering my kids and grandkids names!!!!

Hey Ruttie.....Nancy heard that Clorox will provide information on cleaning and sanitizing classrooms on their web site....apparently they will send samples and information to teachers. She's going to do it for Angeline.

Welcome back Bill...glad the two of you had a good time. Last year, just prior to the TransAtlantic, we visited your Plymouth...then five days later we were in Plymouth, England. So, we visited the place where the Pilgrims got run out of town.....and the place where they took it out on the Indians. BTW...the Plymouth Rock is a disappointment.....it's almost just a pebble.

How did your Zoom Zoom get so dirty inside, K2? I have to straighten ours out when I return form using it.......it's a disease I have....I go bonkers over a dirty car.

San - You'd go more then bonkers, if you saw our car right now. With all the construction going on around us, it is covered with dust and dirt. Add to that the dampness during the night and you get one big mess. If we ever get the garage cleaned out, and that's a big IF, that should change. But in the meantime, I just wear sunglasses when I drive so no one knows it's me driving such a dirty car!!!

I have to have space in the garage for the cars, BB...Nancy's stuff would go outside before the cars would.....the garage is MINE.....nothing else around here is....just the Garage!!!!. The Chevy is always covered up with a car cover in the garage......Damn Cats!!!!

I have to continue to behave on here, at least until PH gets off work.....she thinks I can't do it....she'll see....I can handle it for eight hours

The garage is Bert's around here also. Trouble is he suffers from TMS ... too much s--t!! Add to that all of Missy and Jimmy's furniture is in there right now. You can barely close the garage door! Once they move out he can have his garage back. Right now he's trying to figure out how to air condition it. Poor baby thinks it will be too warm in there for him to do any of the kinds of things guys do in their garage. Give me a break!!!

PH will be very proud of you when she gets home. You're really behaving today! Are you sick or something? This definitely isn't your normal behavior! LOL

Ruttie - We weren't allowed to bring anything like clorox anywhere near our classrooms. Risk management wouldn't allow it! They also wouldn't allow us to have classroom pets either for fear they would bite one of the kids. That was the start of the end for me!

Went to Disney this weekend with my mom and Emily - we had a blast and Emily keeps telling everyone she had dinner with Minnie Mouse and Goofy! (which she did!)

San - I have to AGREE totally with you - (well about W anyway- the whole breeze issue is another story!) Hey you're listed as a bartender - I would love a drink right now - wanna make me one? Im not as easy as breeze is though when it comes to liquor... I will go easy on ya though - bacardi raz and diet coke please...

Cayman - want to get even more confrused... San is my Uncle in law - (Right "unc") and Breeze is my Mother in Law!

I am kinda posting in random as I haven't read back the past day or two but I wanted to say hello!

Morning all....I guess it is afternoon for most of you. It has been a busy couple of days around here getting the kids settled into school and cleaning out the van....btw, I think I would have won - hands down - for having the dirtiest vehicle.

Our drive down south was great. We all enjoyed DL. The younger girls especially. It was so fun watching Bailee's face when we were up on the balcony of the hotel when she realised we were at Disneyland. She started jumping up and down! Kelsee was more interested in the hotel than what was outside the hotel. We had an excellent lunch with Tony, Nancy, J&A and A&A at The Cheesecake Factory in San Jose and the company was even better. I (the Navigator) managed to get us Royaly lost in San Jose trying to meet up with everyone. It got to the point where we just pulled over and Tony and Nancy came and got us! Thanks again Tony....for everything. Dinner is ON US in YVR in May. No exceptions. BTW, thanks for the kind words about our girls, but they weren't that good. Aimee had some of her classic moments and the younger two had a hard time sitting for more than an hour. I think we will leave them with a sitter when we get together again. Monty and I enjoyed our meal so much that we decided to try and go again when we were in Anaheim but there was a four hour wait!

We bought the girls an autograph photo album and they had tons of fun getting the characters signatures. Kelsee amazed me more than once....she went on every ride at DL except Indiana Jones because she wasn't tall enough. She went on every ride at California Adventure Park except California Screeming because it was closed and the Maliboomer (one of those lauch straight up rides) because she wasn't tall enough....neither was Bailee. We all went on the Twilight Zone Tower of Terror and dropped in for the "elevator ride of our life"! We all loved Space Mountain so much we went on it four times. We have tons of pictures but haven't even started downloading them to the computer. There is a great group shot taken outside the Cheesecake Factory.

San, thanks for the directions getting from San Jose to Los Angeles. Nancy was right....it was a pretty boring drive. There was a little bit of excitment because a section of the Summit before you head down into Los Angeles had a forest fire (are they still called forest fires when there isn't any forest?!) The summit was closed for a few hours, but we only had a 30 minute wait....so I guess it was a good thing we didn't meet up until 11.

Hi to everyone. I hope the others can join us soon...or they fix the other board because I like it better! I'll send pics as soon as I get organized. I'm so excited because hockey starts again this Sunday....it has been way too long since I laced up my skates. Christine is coming over for lunch so I had better get off the computer and figure out what we can have. Later.....
