Had to laugh, they were showing pictures of people in Florida stocking up on all the usual supplies again, and they showed one woman carrying out a case of beer. She does know what is needed.

After last year I would say you are probably right about the shutters. We are more to the center of the state so unless something really slams in near Daytona or Cedar River we should be ok.
From what I am hearing now Wilma may stay even farther south or even go to Mexico instead, depending on which "expert" is on at the moment.

I'm here, just been busy.
I loved the clock Email, Kc....you know me well. Thanks. I'm also trying to learn a lot about Amateur Radios....I keep spending more money on equipment....darn near as expensive as boating!
It's finally fall here....days are cooler and getting dark quite early. Going up to Mount Shasta ATVing Friday until Monday. Watsonville Wednesday evening and come home Thursday evening.
I'm glad that you guys seemed to get throught Wilma OK....I kept thinking of you guys down there all last night. Hopefully that will be the last for a while. Sorry you didn't get the day off PH.

The little rain that we got when I first started posting on the CC board this morning has stopped. It's windy out there and cold...........but at least it's BRIGHT and not gray and dark.
Sure glad the girls in Florida made it through WILMA without a scratch. Lucky is what I'm thinking!

Yes, we watch Airline quite often. Looking forward to TAR this evening. I have a feeling that the ratings for TAR are going down. I liked it much better when they went to dream places instead of all this stuff at home. I think it was the combination of the people and exotic destinations that made it popular.....I think they have spoiled it.
