A hazy, humid start to this Monday morning.
That’s why our government enacted that law Dave. Some places in Canada are barely Canadian any more because of foreign buyers and investors.
You could make an entire bowl of decorative apples with those gourds Mike! Neat.
I think it’s a good idea to at least be aware that pups can take Benadryl if they get stung or happen to snag a bee in mid air Kathie. Same goes for you four legged kids Dave.
Would the same apply to cats Karen?
How often do you get in home therapy Bill? Do you eventually go to physio appointments? I hope things are progressing as planned.

Hope it's a good day for all of you!

Art woke me up, earlier than normal, saying his "CAP" on his tooth in the back came off!
ALWAYS SOMETHING. So I called the dentist and they already had 3 emergencies call in this morning! (hey, it's Monday) Tina said she would call me back. I waited 5 minutes and called her back and asked if WED would be better and she said "Sure would be". This dentist doesn't work on Tuesday's. What a crazy schedule. That's our morning excitement.

It's going to be overcast and like Lee mentioned HUMIDITY is going to be high over here.

I think it's fantastic that Trump is TICKED OFF BIG TIME that Pres Biden ended his run for another term! There are some GOP's that said what he did is UN-Democratic! Ha Ha. Does that give you a HINT that they're a TAD worried about running against Kalma! Go get'em girl.

Every day, in every day, I am getting better.
Have found that I am sleeping a bit better by using my recliner in the living room so I have started sleeping in the bed, I usually wake up to visit the bathroom around 2am and then move to the recliner where I finish with a few 2 hour stretches of good sleep until 8 or so in the morning. Physical therapist was here yesterday and will begin regular sessions Tuesday.
Another nurse will be here today to check on the ability of my blood to clot. During the day, I am pretty much getting up and walking around the house and doing various exercises. Things seem to be progressing well.
Lots of speculation as to who Kamala will choose as her running mate. I think that it will most likely be a democratic governor but whoever it is will be better for this country than the pair on the Republican ticket. It was never more important to vote Blue than it will be next November.
Kevin and Jamie dropped by yesterday and mentioned that they have booked a 5 night cruise on Margaritaville at Sea's Islander which in an earlier life was the Costa Atlantica. Pictures look very nice and it only holds 2500 passengers so should a good experience after having sailed on Royal's megaships.They offer special discounts to military and first responders. Looking forward to their hearing their comments after their cruise.

Speaking of “caps” Kathie, I don’t recall if Art ever got his birthday cap you had made for him.

When I look at the pictures of Kamala since Sunday she looks confident and ready for whatever t-rump is going to throw at her and the Democrats. I don’t think that the choice of a running mate has ever been so important.
What a neat cap Kathie. Art’s ship, hull number, his name and rank. Cool! Now you need to convince him that it’s made to be worn. Not a treasure to be displayed. Which it is.
We had a good steady rain last evening. It lasted for about an hour. But, as finicky as weather can be, friends 10 minutes away in town got nothing.
I’m not sure what we have on tap for today. The day seems so empty without medical appointments! Can I get an “Amen”.

Nice day here so far. Suppose to get up into the 80's. I haven't put my head outside to see how the HUMIDITY is yet.
Lee: Art likes his hat and does wear it while working around the outside of the house. And he wears it when he goes to the store. He's gotten a few folks that said "Thanks for your service".
He laughs at that because he wasn't in the service at WARTIME. He always says it was like a free way to see other countries when he was a teenager! Ha ha. He was one of those kids that graduated from High School and ENLISTED ASAP! Back then, that was the thing to do.

Good morning fellow Earthlings! Wednesday already? My goodness, just a couple of days ago it was Monday.

I'm getting such a kick out of watching the Buffoon and his base getting their panties in a bunch, now that Kamala Harris is running for President.

Come to think of it, I'm going to have to get a new yard sign now that Biden decided to stop running. And just when I thought I was all set for the election. Just waiting on Kamala's pick for Vice President.

I had to giggle when someone mentioned that Kamala's slogan should be, "Make America Laugh Again." Hey, I like it. Sure beats all the doom and gloom attitude the other side portrays the country.

Plans today........I'm still working on that. Should hit the stationary bike. And Kathi wants to finish another blanket she's making. After that, just winging it.

Whatever you've got planned, have fun doing it.

Many of the folks we know south of the 49th parallel seem to have a new outlook, hope if I may be so bold, for the future of America now that Kamala has stepped up, stepped in and seems to have unified the party. The best way to take on a bully is to do it head on. And I have no doubt that is exactly what she and her team are going to do.
I was awake before 5:00 this morning for some reason. So we had our early walk extra early. I was amazed how kitchen lights were on and how many folks were heading off to, oh what’s it called? Oh ya, work.
For now I don’t have much else going through my mind.
Other than hoping the rest of the hutch is doing well and will have a great day!

Yikes the Summer is flying by way too quick.

The rain yesterday about 9:30 pm was a quick windy one, but got everything nicely watered around here! Always a plus.

Art went to the dentist REAL EARLY to get a cap RE-GLUED on to the crown! Always Something!

I’m finishing my coffee while watching the Olympic Soccer game. I had to MUTE the sound because those soccer fans love to chant and make an unreal loud noise for the entire 90 min game. It can drive you nuts after a while.

I should be cleaning this place, but don’t feel like it today, so it will have to wait for a better inspiration day to happen.

I was in the grocery store yesterday to pick up some fresh hot dog buns and was looking for some Hot Dog Chilli when I saw a can labeled
SKY WAY CHILI! Made me think of Mama Bear Pat. She use to rave about that chili. I didn’t buy it because when I shook the can it was more like soup. Funny how little things like that tigger memories.

There was a guy on a TV program, can’t think of the name right now, that looked just like Tony. Even Art said he did. Miss both of those Wrabbits big time.

A quiet day here in the hutch. Which I hope is because everyone is busy with fun stuff.
The Gordie Howe Bridge deck is complete Kathie! There was lots of glad handing and publicity shots from the deck and there were even a couple of Gordie‘s sons there today too. Hard to believe it has been 24 years in the planning and building stages and another year before it will be open to traffic.
