Return of the Cruising Bunny's....

Good morning everyone.
Kathie, if I could vote you know which team I’d be backing.
Don’t blame it on hitting the wrong button Dave. Blame it on the worldwide software glitch.
Not much else new at this relatively early hour.
It’s supposed to be a really nice day here. A good day to be outdoors.
All of you enjoy whatever the day may bring you.

Good EARLY Morning all!
Good Morning Summer GIF by Eledraws (Eleonore Bem)

Bill: Hope you had a good night's sleep. Just don't try and do too much. One day at a time.

Well, about that Worldwide Sofware Glitch. Around 2:00 am (or somewhere around then) our Laptop which is connected to a huge monitor in the spare bedroom was going off. It sounded like it was RE-Booting! Then about 7:00 am the "house Alarm system" was beeping at the wall monitor. Thank goodness the actual LOUD ALARM wasn't going off. That's enough to scare a dead person back to life it's so loud. And one last thing the one-bedroom alarm clock is still flashing as if we had a power interruption. Which we obviously did. STRANGE HAPPENINGS.
Of course, MR ARTIE didn't HEAR any of this. DUH.

I'm just glad the computer is working and didn't get fried!

Looks like it's going to be a really super nice day here today.
You all have a wonderful Saturday and be safe. If you're in a crowded area, (grocery store comes to mind) don't be shy about wearing a mask. Better safe than sorry. Covid is on the RISE again.

Later.

Not to worry. Not planing to do anything other than to rest and relax for the next few days. Didn't get any long periods of sleep last night but hoping to have a better experience today.
Weather improved considerably while I was in the hospital so my timing was pretty good. Enjoy the weekend.

Michael had to go into work at 2:00 AM yesterday because of the glitch. He worked on the computers until 2:00 PMyesterday then came here. He showed me how too put pictures from the telephone to the computer. It is almost the same as doing it with a camera which I knew how to do.
Welcome home Bill.
It was a great day today. I sat outside 2 hours today, It wasn't t hat hot so I was comfortable the entire time. Lee, your pure Michigan day was a pure Ohio day also. Bob Newhart had two great skits that I enjoy and his two tv shows were fantastic. His skit about him trying to exlaing tobacco to the queen and his last show with the 3 brothers had me rolling on the floor Thanks for the pictures.
K2, I would be like Mr. Artie. I would not hear a thing. Being severely hearing handicaped does have it's advantages. I hope Mr. Manny had a happy birthday.
We are going to get a lot of cherry and grape tomatoes. Some of the grape tomatoes can be seen behind the apple tomato (gourd)
Here is my one apple tomato and a few hibiscuses.
Dave, Kc, my optoitrist had me taking areds a long time ago.

MIKE: How fun that you can post pictures on here! Good job Buddy! You look great on that Rider-Mower! It’s huge! Just like those plate size pink flowers! Thanks for sharing!

I had Manny’s B-Day written down 1day too early. It’s Sunday! Not that he will know! Ha ha.

Karen: Has your company gone back home yet?

Have a good Sunday everyone.

Morning everybody!

So thankful for your pictures Mike. You on your chariot, and that apple masquerading as a tomato.

Oh what a MAJOR difference lower humidity makes, like what we've enjoyed the last few days. And should continue for the next couple of days.

Good to hear that you are taking it easy, Bill. (Peace and quiet that you'll never find in a hospital bed.) But DO NOT dodge those physical therapy sessions.)

Lee; All this mess at airports, and other businesses caused by this software upgrade reminds me of our OVER dependents on imperfect technology.

Hope you've shut down or rebooted all the alarms and beeps it has had in your home, K2.

KC; It sure would be nice if your humidity dropped a bunch. This time of year in Florida can be just plain miserable. To think that without the invention of air conditioning, the population would be half of what it is today.

Ya'll enjoy a relaxing day filled with yummy tidbits to eat.

And if you have the right attitude, it IS a wonderful world. Oh ya.
Thanks Dave. We all need that tune every now and again. Ya, I think Mike’s trying to pull a fast one with that “tomapple”.
I don’t know Kathie. Mr. Manny seems pretty bright and he may very well know that TODAY is his birthday. Just an FYI…
Prime Minister Justin Trudeau's government acted to prohibit non-Canadians from buying residential real estate in 2022, with the measure to expire on Jan. 1, 2025. That date has now been moved to Jan. 1, 2027.
What a neat group of photos Mike! That’s quite the yard tractor. You look good sittin’ on it. There’s so many different “dinner plate” hibiscus plants. Yours seem to be more on stalks and ours are bushes. All of them beautiful and add a smile to many peoples day.
Thanks for the updates Bill. I’m still amazed at how quickly the medical profession gets people back on their feet after major surgery!
Have a wonderful Sunday, no doubt starting with Church, Karen. Well, maybe coffee first. Then church.
Stay safe and well my friends.

Happy Sunday GIF

It’s a perfect day to have coffee and my toasted Brioche on the deck. Watched the young ducks peeking away at the thistle seed that falls on the grass & path from the feeder. Baby Rabbit joined in. Wish PEOPLE got along like my backyard friends do.

Dave…great song.

Karen: I watched some of your church service earlier online. Nice. Then watched some Orthodox ones.

Yup, today Mr Manny is 2 yrs old. Getting spoiled with scrambled eggs. :DIMG_1123.png

You all have a good!

Quick good afternoon check in! Amanda & Allie fly back home tomorrow, it's been a fun visit but I know everyone is ready to get settled back into their own routines again!

Bill, glad to read the surgery was a success & you are back home & comfy in your own bed!

Kathie, what did you think of Father John this morning? He's been our supply priest several times now & is really nice & friendly.

Mike, great pics of all your flowers & you on your lawn ride!

Dave, I don't think there is much chance of our humidity dropping before last Sept.

Lee, if the vote doesn't go well in Nov. I couldn't blame your government in the least for pulling up the drawbridge & hanging out the closed sign. Lord help us all if loony bird gets re-elected!

Had one heck of a thunderstorm last night, the thunder was so loud the house actually shook & the rain was just pounding against the bedroom window. It rained hard for a good 45 mins or so.
Supposed to be meeting a lady this afternoon for one of my marketplace items, will see if she messages me to confirm or not.
Have an awesome Sunday all!

Some great photos there Kathie! Manny sure is one good lookin’ 2 year old pup. Are you and Art licensed in the Great State of Michigan to operate a zoo?
That sounds like a real good old fashioned thunder boomer Karen. I’m betting as Amanda and Allie head home and you get back into your routine you’ll miss them all the same.
We had a lovely walk in The Park this morning. We went a little earlier today and many of the regular crowd were out early as well. There were two huge freighters headed upriver. We, as a group, wondered if residents and kids here realize that not everyone lives in a friendly town along side a river.
I must get off my butt and get some exercise done. A good chance for me to catch up on this morning’s F1 race while I walk.
Enjoy the rest of your day everybody.

Sorry to be such a pest everyone.
Next up on Gardening With Mike I have a question Lu-Ann in Amherstburg. :canada: She asks “Is your apple tomato gourd simply decorative?“
See how I made that sound like we’re on a radio program. :emoticon 0100 smile: Call signal WBNY.

Well, it's Sunday & miracles DO still happen! The lady I was supposed to meet at 3 messaged me a little while ago to see if we could meet then. Sure thing, so now Jane is $10 richer & I have a little more space in my garage, win/win!

Lee, I envy you having such a lovely spot for your morning walks!

You read it here first on WBNY. President Biden steps aside from The Presidential race.

And WHERE WERE YOU WHEN YOU HEARD ABOUT the Pres stepping aside. Let the wise-cracks begin!

I can only wish him well.

Went to Kohl’s and used a 40% off coupon to buy a coffee pot that was on sale. Love when I can nail a really good sale.

Karen: Fr John was good. I didn’t listen to the entire service I had to get some Serbian service in too! :emoticon 0122 itwasntme:

Lee: Tell your government to really think hard about closing its borders! It’s going to get REALLY SCARY CRAZY HERE!

Later gang.
Bill. hope you’re resting well and catching up on your sleep

DARN those NASTY MOSQUITOS. I watered the flowers around the house and the SOB's got me 5 times. I'm itching and about to take a Benadryl.
Remind me not to water until I spray down with "OFF" next time. :supris:

Well Karen, being east of The Mississippi radio and TV stations broadcasting letters start with “W“. West of The River they start with “K”.
BNY is a nod to The Bunny Board. Hence, WBNY. We even have our own early morning guy, Father Dave.
Yep, way too much time on my hands. :emoticon 0102 bigsmile:
Oh Kathie. It sounds like you react really quick to bug bites. Do Jill and Mark keep Benadryl on hand if Manny gets stung? Our vet gave us the dose for Ava’s weight. We keep tablets for Ava just in case.

I Think you beter keep a lot of Off aroung k2. Isn't there other problems with moswuito bites??How tame are your ducks and baby rabbit? That is a very cute picture of Manny.
Lee, and here I thought it was for west bound New York. Yes Lee, the apple gourd is decorative. I also have one painted yellow and a slew of others.
Where are you going to spend that ten dollars Kc??
What a Wonderful World, one of my favorite songs when I was dancing and Sachmo singing it and also Hello Dolly. Thanks for posting it Dave, brought back many happy memories as a lot to the songs posted here.
I hope you are still resting and taking it easy Bill.

Lee: Thanks for the heads up on the Benadryl for Manny (if needed). I’ll be sure to pass it along.

Sitting here watching the Final round of 2024 Open. Yup, I’m nuts. :emoticon 0102 bigsmile:
