Mary Ann, we plan to spend a couple days in SF too. I'm not sure yet which day we will come in, yet. We plan to do some sightseeing for sure, and may drive to Carmel. (Last time we were in Carmel, we saw Clint Eastwood. Made DH's day! )

Mary ann doubt if we will come into San Francisco until day before cruise unless we get a real good hotel price and it will depend if we have family joining later.

I know it's VERY VERY early for any type of commitment. I'll start a "hotel" thread next week, and ask all Duckies/DITs to respond under that. It's so early, and I know lots can change. I'm only trying to get a general idea.

Uh-oh. Pucci is in deep trouble. Warren had his pride and joy - his lawn - re-seeded. Right afterwards, they had some downpours. Pucci hid his head in shame. Now snow? Geez.....

Downpour, not good but I've hard snow is that the weight and slow melt off helps push the seeds down into the lawn. We have just started the Lawn Dr service...have a serious moss issue going on and every time they treat on Thursday we get a big rainy weekend. They've been out 2x to re-do, thankfully at no additional expense to us.
No snow here but it has been on the cool side here today...barely made it to 60 today though a sunny day.

Thank you all for the welcome wishes.
I enrolled gd in high school this Monday as she just came to live with me. While there inquired about time line for school starting 09-10 school year. They do start school in August so hope that cruise is not going to run into start date. Will have to wait and see. It is the same for gs school again will have to wait and see. In the meantime we are signed up and planning on having a quacking good time. :wave

As promised, here is the pictures from when the snow just started . . . .it eventually accumulated about 2.5" of the stuff. By the time we got home, the major roads were clear and dry like it never snowed . . . .go figure!
