Good evening Duck mates! It's been busy around here the last few days but had to come by and see what's been going on in the duck pond Taking a break from the severe thunderstorms and tornado warnings. The youngest DD and I are
through for the evening of going up and down the stairs to the basement. They say we are still under a tornado watch for another 4 hours or so but it is getting late. I love a good thunderstorm but you can keep the tornadoes I really don't want to land in the Land of OZ under the house (unless it is in Austraila ) so I will keep the TV on for awhile tonight.
Ginny Lou I hope that it works out that we get to cruise together twice within a year. I can relate about the school
thing. Our schools start August 17th around here but since both girls will be in college ..... =cry =eek

Ginnylou, the reason we picked the date we did was because of DGD's school schedule. Here in Joisey, they start just after Labor Day, so this one works best.

Mornin' Glories!!! I've sort of been MIA here of late due to work. I am leaving Tues - Fri for a business trip and currently I am swimming an upstream battle, or so it seems. But, I will get done with all of my preparations between now and Monday. I know I will, I know I will.

TGIF to everyone...it's my Friday to work so that sucks, especially since it is suppose to be a summer like day. Hope everyone has fun weekend plans. Leatherneck may work tomorrow to "make up" for being off 2 days this week. He is hoping he can do it from home now that he has is access FOB...next week he will start officially working from home on Tuesday & Thursday. Not much else on our agenda...hope to work in the garden and get the grass cut...that's about all. Everyone enjoy their weekend no matter what they have scheduled.

I already was dingbat enough to open that thread ..
so that's all I'm going to say for that..
and Mary Ann Dear Girl you really did about lay open the barn there and got sooommme lucky.. :grin.. BUT in all honesty I don't know!!.. even though you've been "our Gem" for years.. if I shall have to hug you ar hurt you for our first hug in person.!!..BECAUSE
with all the =grrr airlines, and luggage things.. I am going to be in hock for this little dalliance on our fave size ship../sailing.. would you believe,,??
I got some more ducky stuff set.. :grin I have believe it or not gotten rolled into this by !! not even asking!!??!.. MARK looking online and saying look Hon you gotta see this..=eek.. it's another monster been created in the Duck Crew Madness.. and I =adore you truly..and we have said for years.. WHEN are we going to connect and make this work..:evil!!..
but HOLY smokes.. I would HAVE bet my parents farm to not ever have him be this involved in this.. and he was yapping to some other buddies the other night.. and it was like...." AND Joanne has us on this Alaska cruise with all our buddies and I was so not thinking we'd go on one and now it is going to be incredible.. and I mean it's with all these folks we have sailed with and new ones.. and she even has DUCKS for the theme, and we have all this stuff being set ,and it's so ...=coolsign..."...

You know Joanne Paw has been abt the same abtr the Duckie cruise--I think his baptism on the Amigos- was just right to make him feel like he is a true duckie--he is looking at things and considering what he can do. How come though it is always us who have them booked on these cruises-lol

Good morning, Duck Crew and Duck Crew-to-Be. Truth be known, I had one of those medical exams yesterday that are necessary every so often, but we all hate. Mal D's moose joke might have been very appropriate. :X
Glad you behaved yourselves. Of course, "behaving" is a relative term. But with Duckies, anything short of mayhem could be considered acceptable behavior. :angel
My entrance hall has a number of HEAVY cartons that, today, will be moved to their staging area until all DUCK STUFF amasses between now and the cruise. Sea Quack will probably need more fuel because of her extra weight from cargo.
