Mary Ann think one of resons so many DIT's jpined on this cruise is the comraderie there is and joking among the group. Having cruised several times with some of the Ducks in past I know they are there to have a good time and make your time a good one too. I just can't imagine how they can keep up this pace until cruise time.

I spent the day with some of my family that will be going along on the cruise. They are sooooo excited!

I ordered the video (about Alaska) from Princess a few weeks ago. As soon as it gets here, we are going to get together for a "pre-cruise" party to watch it. My family has never been to Alaska, so they have no idea of what's in store. I'm sure the video will give them an idea of the sights of Alaska.

Now....to try to tell them a little about the "ducks"......

Raggae,
Just make sure there are no children around when you tell them about the Ducks. We wouldn't want them scarred for life.

Gotcha! ;)

Not bringing any children on this cruise....been there, done that :)

(As for my sibs, they've been around the block a few times, and I think they will get along just fine with the ducks.....)

Tobyn - Brucie can go waddle into a corner and play with his BIG Duckies.

Maw - camaraderie is what the Duck Crew has always been about, and I'll be most delighted to see that grow on this cruise. Heretofore, our core Duckies have gone into high gear - especially in e-mail - once a cruise has been announced, and the nonsense has kept up from that point on. I'm certain the pace will slow down a bit, but the planning and high spirits remain behind the scenes. I'm tall - 5'10" - and the large boxes of "duck stuff" stacked on top of each other are now my height!

Reggae - there are children and there are children. Duckies oftentimes haven't matured into adulthood. :grin

Ahhhh so your saying that Brucie, Mal and bOB ard ducklings. LOL Mary Ann, if the boxes keep coming you and Pucci might have to move =eek

I just have to say this is going to be some gathering of a gaggle and I can't thank the core Duck Crew enough for allowing us to join in the fun ;)

Well, actually, Denise - they're Ducks, not Ducklings. Here's the definition:

Ducks - original members bOB & Sheryl, Judi & Mal D, Bruce & Sharon, Jan Quinn (who'll be on the cruise but isn't an @ddict), myself.

Ducklings - later members - Suer & Warren, JohnNJ & Thumbs.

DITs - everyone else joining the Duck Crew for the first time.

We are truly happy to be welcoming all the DITs. One room in my house is now dedicated to Duck cartons! :lol

Quack Quack Mama Duck I am worrying how all these cartons are going to get to the ship. Life would certainly be dull if all men grew up to be stodgy old men --life is certainly fun when you don't know what to expect next--spent my life embarassed at times by Paw but think he has finally met his lost brothers. Let the games continue.

Good evening, Duckies. Mama Duck did something this afternoon that I haven't done in several years, literally several years. I extended the awnings over the back patio and actually sat outside with Pucci for awhile reading the Sunday paper! Didn't last too long, though, with the temperature up to 95 degrees. Pucci doesn't tolerate high heat.

I hope you had a nice weekend, with nice Ducky dreams! <img src=http://katiejeffreys.com/ducky/graphics/cool%20duck.jpg>
